I hate it :(. I wish there was an option to go back to old set up.  This graph is so much harder to read.  I preferred the old set up way better.  Is there a way to go back? I won’t be keeping a premium account if it stays this way. I love you too get your backpack

It sucks

How did you contact a person? I've tried and not successful. I don't pay premium, glad I don't now, but i hope I don't suffer because of it now.  Even tho I'm about to I quit fitbit altogether.

Best Answer

They don't know what they're doing

You have over 400 replies to this.   Can a statement be made to us users RebeccaFitbit?  Don't disregard our comments...I'm sure there are MANY more out there who just haven't posted.

Is there an actual real person from Google/FitBit monitoring all the commentaries on the new Sleep App?

If not, why not?

If so, why are there no monitor responses to all the complaints about the new Sleep App?

For some people with certain health issues (especially cognitive, visual, neurological etc), no, change is NOT always "good", and no amount of rewording to convince people otherwise can change how some peoples brains function. Plain and simple. I can speak from my own challenges which are UNABLE to comprehend/interpret the new layout, and there's literally nothing you or anyone else can say to change that, period. Not unless you are a neurosurgeon who can go into my brain & fit it. 😉 And to have the mentality that oh you may lose some customers, like me, who don't have the ability to "grow to like it" (because again, for us it is NOT about just not liking it!!), but that's just business and how it works, well, that says a LOT about the powers that be. We should be given the option to keep the old format. It's literally for medical reasons, not being unwilling to change. Also, were older people even considered when making these changes?? Do you know how challenging it can/will be for so many of them??? There's NO WAY they're all figuring that crap out on their own. I've seen comments from people who don't appear to have neurological conditions such as myself, and even they're all complaining about the complexity of it all etc. I cannot imagine my mother or grandmother trying to learn this crap all over again, especially if they don't have anyone to help them, and SO many don't. They should also have the option to keep the previous layout.

Thanks

I didn’t see any notification of the change

I don't think it would've mattered.  They were changing it with or without our thoughts in mind.

We have questions. Many questions. Many complaints....And NO CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONDING.

Best Answer

...and obviously no real customer service kind of person is monitoring all these complaints...after THEY asked for our opinions.

Rotten customer service.

The new sleep update is terrible and the graphics are hard to read. I much prefer the old graphics.

I really dislike this new app design. The sleep feature is just awful to read, it's messy, confusing, doesn't have the usual breakdown which I loved. Fitbit has done a terrible job and I wish I could reverse back to the old version. Is this possible?

Best Answer
Thank you! Since the update, instead of excitement to view my stats, I get a pit in my stomach realizing I’ll have to muddle thru this mess of a UI. It’s so unintuitive I have almost a physically negative response to it. When I opened my eyes this morning, my first thought was, I wonder if I should look into switching to the Apple Watch, because I’m gonna need a new one soon (scratches.)

Dear RebeccaFitbit,

What exactly does a Fitbit Moderator do? I’m honestly not sure. Do you just tell us what’s happened (we noticed the changes)? Do you actually read our responses? Are you an AI? What’s the point of this forum? Is it just here to make us feel like we have a voice or choice? I’m really confused about your role, the role of this “community forum,” as well the purpose of Fitbit. Can you explain it to me? Isn’t Fitbit supposed to be a business that provides a service to their customers? Am I missing something?

For every person who has negatively responded to the “upgrades,” you can bet there are easily ten to twenty times that number who haven’t posted comments here, but who are now dissatisfied customers blaming Google for this fiasco.

It’s time that you or someone in authority responded to us. Just tell us you don’t care what we think, so we can stop wasting precious time posting here, we can get rid of our Fitbits, and we can get a different product that will serve our needs. For this gal, I can promise you that it will NOT be a Google product that I will get.

I look forward to hearing back from you or anyone from Fitbit, but I’m not holding my breath.

Sincerely,

Jayavanti

Exactly right, Lgmono! I feel the same way! I dread looking at my Fitbit stats in the morning.  Whereas before, it was a joy to see my sleep data, now I cringe before I look. Well, lately my Fitbit refuses to sync properly without me having to “get help.” Ugh! I’m so tired of this.

You can bet the developers (or some sort of analytical AI) would be busy
counting the number of dis-satisfied customers and simply weighing their
options for a way forward.
That number of us, plus the potential number of users who haven't bothered
to even inquire as to what the heck has happened....versus the MILLIONS of
users of all of the services they provide around the
globe??!!...Easy...bye-bye unhappy customers.
Well worth the risk to just ignore our feedback, because it didn't just
happen! There would have been tons of reasons and justifications for the
change, all supported by those above them.
There ya go...

I totally agree. I also don't like that I can no longer see my long term daily history in detail. Definitely a worse "upgrade" in all respects. My partner feels exactly the same.
