Hi everyone! Starting today, you may notice a new sleep experience in your Fitbit app. If you don't have it right away, please be patient as it can take some time to reach all users.
Check out what’s new by going to the Fitbit Community blog.
What do you think? Let us know!

As I take it we all think that the new way is alot worse than the last way, so change it back!!!!!

Hi Rebecca
when you posted your question, your role description said the following -
"Community Moderators ensure that conversations are friendly, factual, and on-topic. We're here to answer questions, escalate bugs, and make sure your voice is heard by the larger Fitbit team.We are here to answer questions and escalate bugs"
And you asked us to - Let you know what we think.
I presume google are sincere in such statments?
So, you've definitely heard what we think, and we've reported bugs.
But we've heard nothing back. Nothing. Maybe we've missed a trick here, we've made comments but haven't asked you many questions.
So Rebecca, moderator, here are some questions directly addressed to you.
Have we been heard by the wider FitBit community?
Have bugs been escallated?-
What are the responses?
What are the plans?
And are they considering restoring the previous version? (As I managed to restore it myself, it's clearly not corrct that it can't be restored)
Please do let us know. Are we allowed to know?
So, Rebeccca, I presume that you are keen to fulfil the role of a moderator.
So could we please have some answers? Is that an unreasonable request?
If it is, should the description of the role of a moderartor be changed on this COMMUNITY site? What do you think? That's two more questions?
Are there any answers?

In a word - yuck.
Sleep was the item I was really tracking these days with my Versa 2 and the change has made the data virtually useless. I often have broken sleep - sleeping in two distinct sessions on a given night. The new experience does not make my total sleep readily apparent and the graph is not easy to read.
I'll be honest, this may be the nail in the coffin for me - I may ditch my Fitbit. I don't want a Pixel watch that has to be recharged constantly - my Versa 2 has been great with 3-5 day recharge cycles. I don't want to go over to the Apple side and I've not seen anything compelling about alternatives. I might have to go back to an analog watch... which kinda sucks, but is better than the alternatives.

My wife and I used the old sleep tracking and were happy with it. We don't find the new update easy to follow so we find ourselves getting away from checking the data. You're not the first or last company to think an update is better. Shouldn't you give us the choice to try an updated app, then allow us to go back to the original if we feel its better for us?

Jonathan,
Can you please provide us with instructions on how to restore the previous sleep tracking appearance, and then keep it that way so to does not revert back to the crappy new one?
Thank you,
Dr.Doctor

Hate the new update, revert to the old one! Seriously considering switching to apple.

Waiting for some type of response from Fitbit. Clearly this ‘update’ to the sleep data on the app is a fail. When will we hear if Fitbit has heard and acknowledged our concerns or do we all need to move to an alternative tracker??

It's awful I don't like it, I really liked the original as did many others in replies on here. Please change it back. It's harder to read, the original was do much easier at a glance. I don't know how you can say this is easier to read and a better version it's terrible.

So Rebecca,
When will we be offered the opportunity to go back to the old sleep experience on my Fitbit app? Because the new one IS AWFUL!!!!!
But I imagine you won't reply, or pass on the many, many concerns/complaints/the "Gee, I think I'll ditch Fitbit" comments that have been posted.
So come on, Rebecca, are you going to reply or make some reference to our concerns? You are a "Fitbit Moderator".
BTW, where can we 👎? I didn't see any button to do that.

Same, I didn't see a 👎 either

Absolutely dislike the new design. The colors alone make it VERY difficult to read and actually appreciate the data displayed. More vibrant colors is needed, especially for those of us with bad eyesight, very hard to distinguish between information.
Although there is more information, it takes a lot of time to navigate and isn’t user friendly. Bring back the old display, and kindly redesign based on mine and many others suggestions, complaints, recommendations and reviews.

I am a long time Fitbit sleep app user. I view my sleep data every morning. The redesign has taken away several features that I looked at every day and has added nothing of value. Please return the old view.
thanks.

My husband and I DO NOT like the updated sleep information. My husband’s Fitbit app on his phone received it first. We thought maybe he’d done something wrong to cause the change so tried for over an hour to change it back because we didn’t like the new format. We realized it was futile. My phone just received the update. Brian’s lived with it for almost two weeks and still immensely dislikes it. I second that. We think the old format was much easier to read and to find the information we wanted.
Would someone please explain to me how this new format is better.
