You have helped me with your post thank you. I was on 100mg of amitripoline and I keep waking up. Nothing seems to help me stay asleep yet. I'm still trying. Tammi

Hey, man, don't worry about yourself, you are just as normal as all people's in the world.
We are ment to wake up at 3am,it's in our gene.
Ou ancestors used to sleep half a night and change guard turn with someone else to prevent being eaten in their sleep.
I thought I had the same problem but now that I know that, I stop worrying about it and go back to sleep right away, thinking that nothing can eat me and my family here..

Our sleep issues are very similar. After a lifetime of insomnia, I finally found something that seems to be working. Cognitive behavior therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) takes a completely diff approach meant to bump up your sleep efficiency and get you off meds.

I was doing that as well.....check your daily SpO2 readings, this is how I found out why I was waking up at all hours of the night even on prescription sleeping meds. Almost every time I had an awake spike I also had a drastic dip in SpO2. I dont snore either but when I went for a sleep study it came back moderate to severe. At least something to look into. And I do hope you get better rest as we all need it.
