FitBit Surge Battery

I've had a Fitbit sure for about six months now. The Battery life has gone from lasting about 2-3 days to know lasting about 6 hours or so. I have a few questions about this

1. is this under warranty?

2. how do i return my device for a new one?

Send fitbit support an email from the app options and get your case going.
They will replace it.
Either keep it but be prepared for similar problems in 6 months, or sell it and buy a blaze if you want to maintain your account whilst fitbit figure out what to do next with a surge 2
