My surge has stopped keeping accurate time. It loses between 10-15 minutes over the course of a few hours. What can I do?

You can try restarting it: restart

Hello,

I am having the exact issue. My Surge no longer shows the correct time. Restarting did not fix. My time zone is listed accurately in account settings. I have had the unit for just a few months. How do I pursue a refund?

Thanks,

V. Summers

Hope you're enjoying the Forums guys, and welcome to the Forums @vsummers and @annhar. If you already tried @SunsetRunner suggestion, check the tips on this post. Smiley Very Happy

Other reason why Fitbit Surge changes the time is syncing issues, for those check this workaround for Android phones and for iPhone or via computer this recommendations. Woman Wink

I tried restarting my Surge- 3 times in fact-- did not make a difference. All other things are working, but right now my Surge is saying the time is 11:40 AM- when reality it is 1:14 PM- cannot believe this I went to my accounts as Fitbit suggest, but that was as far as I got. All other steps are no where to be found on the Fitbit page.

Hi @Weathergirlwiz! It's nice to see you in this thread! Hope you find what you looking for! Woman Very Happy

Thanks for trying those steps. One of the things that we need to check is if your Surge is currently syncing. Can you please confirm when was the last time it successfully sync by going to the Fitbit App, tap on Account (upper right corner), then tap on Surge. If it hasn't sync please tap on "Sync Now" and wait. Sometimes you need to force quite the Fitbit App and turn off Bluetooth and try the "Sync Now" again.

If you encounter an error doing this please let me know! Smiley Happy
