For me it also still doesn’t work. Same error message as before...so nothing solved here.

Then this would be something for Nokia to bring up with Fitbit.

Most third party companies use Fitbit's API to send their data to Fitbit.

I'm like 7 years of flawless synching also.

Did you have to log out and log back into Withings? Or did it just start working again?

I hope you luck when I step on my scale tonight.

I did nothing. I weighed this morning and then when I checked my Fitbit app
at work my weight and body fat had synced. Not only did today’s weigh in
sync, but the past couple weeks that were missing had also synced. It’s
like it never stopped working.

New user since late January, still getting stuck at profile screen.

I've been a user since last April.  My weight hasn't been updating so I tried to reconnect through the Withings connection wizard and when I choose my profile I get the error message, like everyone else.  I'll keep coming back to check if this gets fixed.  I'm not very impressed with Fitbit's programming skills.

I'm also still stuck in the wizard, it gives an error. Syncing has been working flawlessly for the last year and a half. This is definitely not solved.

Thanks from here to the coding team(s) that resolved the problem. Clicked
on the link yesterday (2/5) and within a matter of minutes the two programs
were talking to each other again.

Bob,

are you new to synching between withings and fitbit or a user that the syncing had worked for before?  I am a new user (late January) and I cannot get past the profile screen.

I used the link in below post.

Prior to that I had been linking successfully since June of 2017 until about
10 or so days ago.

Once at the below page I used the Download Withings Data option at which
time apparently all my records were ported over and as of 8 AM this morning
this were still talking to each other.

The Fitbit / Withings scale issues appears to be resolved for me, I was a
previously authenticated users so I don't know if new users trying to setup
sync for the first time will have the same result. When I go to
https://www.fitbit.com/weight/withings
t.com%2Fweight%2Fwithings&data=02%7C01%7C%7Cf7046e71afb54163c73808d68b8c791a

t%2FGCEiDx8I5L97x90PB3Yn0q%2BmrXX1L8%2By29qA%3D&reserved=0> I can see that
my weight is again syncing, it had been broken since 1/25/19 (after nearly 7
years of flawless syncing).

Still doesn't work for me. I did get one step further as Authentication passed and I was able to make user selection for records transfer. But then received and UNKNOWN ERROR when data exchange should have occurred after selecting Next in the wizard dialog!

I am new also as of December 2018 and have encountered same problem with an Unknown Error occurring when data transfer should have happened!

Not completely resolved yet as some of us, myself included, are still unable to sync accounts.  Unclear if it's all "New" users, but is looking that way right now!

Ah, then obviously error is not exclusive to "New" users.

Couldn't agree more, don't let them work on *real* medical devices with real life risk hazards associated with them. Would hate to see people lost to sloppy R&D.

In reading through the various postings of it works, doesn't work, I wonder
if it could be hardware/OS specific.

In my case I'm interfacing the synch process via the Fitbit App, a PaleMoon
browser on a Win 10 Desktop, and from other experiences I've had with other
software/hardware I sure wouldn't be surprised if those using some different
hardware/software configurations may be having problems.

Bob_K - It's not browser related.  I just tried on PaleMoon and got the same error after the correct login.  I'm on Windows 7, however.

This issue can be fixed by one developer in one or two days. 2 months to be just "aware" isn't a good advertising..

1-2 days rush job is type coding, w/o adaquate testing, which often produces more errors than it solves!!
