Peloton activities won't sync with Fitbit

My peloton activities are no longer showing in my Fitbit app?  All worked on Monday 5th Aug, but not 6th or 7th Aug?

Fitbit says its a Peloton issue and won't help.  Suggest we may all need to go to another provider.  Very dissapointing.

No surprise to anyone, TechRadar and others are reporting that google quietly confirmed it will no long produce Sense or Versa smartwatches. Also, in a deal with peloton, Fitbit premium will soon include Peloton fitness classes. So lots going on behind the scenes and our Sense watches syncing with Peloton is not top of the list. Garmin anyone? 😟

If you go on your peloton bike computer you need to disconnect the Fitbit
app and reconnect. That seems to work but for only 1 day at a time.

There is a notice when u log onto peloton that there are minor outages
referencing Fitbit syncing issue but that’s been there since 8-9. It’s
starting to get annoying. It should be a quick fix if they(Fitbit or
peloton or both) want it to be.

I read the same thing.

Garmin is what I was leaning towards too; however, they may require a third
party app to sync. May mean, whatever Google and peloton are working on
will be more synchronized then garmin. Sucks. Either way, we're spending
more money.

I disconnected /reconnected to fitbit from my bike again today. The workout synced promptly. Then I did some classes using the Peloton app and they also synced without issue.

I think I'll see what happens tomorrow if/when I exercise but do not go through the disconnect/reconnect process. There seems to be progress with this issue but we shall see.

That’s great!! Right now I think the key is to disconnect reconnect the
Fitbit app on the peloton bike computer. That’s seems to make the syncing
happen but needs to be done daily if working out.

Agree. I think Fitbit keeps taking away so that you will finally give in
and pay the $10 extra a month to get back what was taken away.

Despite the disappointment the replies have brought me at least I can stop losing my mind wondering why my Peloton rides have stopped showing on my Fitbit and also knowing I am not alone. But technology sure gets on your pips sometimes, everything ticking along smoothly doing what it’s supposed to be doing, and then some bright spark has to fiddle with things. So far I have refused to switch over to Google, nothing against them per se just object to being herded into the sheep pen. So I guess I’m going to be researching a new little step counter for my wrist and associated app. Shame, Fitbit used to be perfect for me - just a simple little step counter, and ability to record my Peloton rides and now they’ve broken it.

This is how I feel. I don't want to go get a Google watch because they did
this to fitbit. Sucks to be forced into something like this. I wonder if
this is a consumer action issue.

How on earth can this be taking Fitbit and peloton to fix?  In reality, I suspect it’s a Fitbit issue since google seemed to completely ruin the app and turn it into the buggy mess it is now.  Anyone here from Fitbit want to reply?

I stopped sharing from the bike then re-established the connection through Google rather than just logging in with my Gmail email address.  I don’t know why that is different but it let me manually send the last ride I did and also a yoga class.  I haven’t taken another class since to see if it’s going to work automatically.  Will see after Pilates tomorrow

I did an online chat with Peloton yesterday and got the same we’re working
on it with Fitbit. It’s been weeks but the temporary fix is to disconnect
Fitbit in the peloton bike computer and then connect.

It works for a day. Better than nothing right now but this should have been
resolved by now.

I think Google Fitbit are slowly taking away features so they can get us to
sign up for some premium plan to get it back.

I have to manually disconnect and reconnect before working out every day.
Fun.

I'm already a fitbit premium member and still having this problem - so it's not just about $$$.

That's true for me, too. The one day recently that I didn't do that, the workout did not sync. Annoying

Just had an email from Peloton saying the issue is resolved! Let’s hope so.

Yes I just did also. We shall see.

Looks like it's resolved. I did a workout this morning, didn't disconnect and reconnect with fitbit, and my workout synced on its own. Yay! I haven't checked the metrics yet but it's a start.

Yes I did a quick 10 ab workout without disconnecting and connecting and it
did come over but took a few mins. Hopefully this is resolved now.

Mine worked yesterday.  I had logged out on the bike and disconnected and reconnected though

Yes it’s been syncing by disconnecting and reconnecting but today I didn’t
do that and it’s synced my workout but took a few mins before I saw it in
Fitbit app.
