Hi everyone - I linked my accounts on Wednesday and my first two rides recorded in Strava synced without any issues (Wedneday evening, Thursday morning Australian Eastern Standard Time). I've logged two more rides since then (Thursday evening and Friday monring, AEST) and neither of them have synced to my Fitbit account - I can't see them on the web dashboard or on my iPhone app. Both of them are showing fine in Strava.
I thought the accounts may have been disconnected so I checked and they show as being connected in both web dashboards.
Has there been any issue with the sync service? If not do you know of a way to get it working again short of disconnecting and reconnecting the accounts?

An update on this issue: We have improved the way that authorization is handled between Fitbit and Strava, which should increase performance and security. As a result, all users will need to disconnect and then reconnect their accounts.
To do this, check the "Applications" section of your fitbit.com Dashboard Settings, and revoke access to Strava. Then proceed through the setup process at http://strava.fitbit.com/ once more to reconnect.
If this doesn't get things working properly at this point, please post in this thread to let me know so that I can help.

I'm checking on the specifics of this, but it may only function for new activities - right now I don't expect that you'll see previous days retroactively appear. I'll see if there's anything we can do to bring in the past week or so.
If those of you who have now reconnected your accounts can see if new activities sync over, that would be a good test.
Best AnswerI have been logging rides in Strava regularly. Recently, they have stopped showing up in the FitBit dashboard. In the past they were showing up for me (before FitBit officially announced strava.fitbit.com), but they would show up hours later. I hope someone can look into this for us.
Best AnswerI am having the same issue with the integration. For me it appears to be one way only.
Strava is displaying my Fitbit activities properly, but Fitbit is not posting the activities I've uploaded to Strava (cycling).
I have confirmed on both dashboards display the apps as being integrated, and I have also tried disconnecting and reconnecting them.
I'm hoping it is a short term bug with the API integration being so new, but also didn't want to brush it off as being the only one it was happening to. Hopefully if enough people note the issue here they will get it addressed ASAP.
I just opened a emailed support for this problem. https://help.fitbit.com/
I had to push through lots of buttons to get to 3rd Party Integration. As soon as I know something, I will post. Please feel free to open your own support tickets.
I've given the fitbit and strava apps permissions but I'm not seeing any sync in either direction for my Charge HR?
This morning for example I've been on my bike. I used my iphone app for Strava, and put the Charge HR in exercise mode, and all that happened is each device recorded to it's own app.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Best AnswerSTRAVA
my first time using surge when strava pairing was released was perfectly seamless, my last two rides (saturday and sunday) have not linked with strava,
whats up?
i need to know if it will be seamless or constantly nigly as i will rather continue using my phone gps and the surge in (spinning) mode as it saves the battery immensely.
please let me know. thanks

Best AnswerI just got an email from support. They asked me to confirm the steps taken to sync my strava account to fitbit (http://strava.fitbit.com). Hopefully, they will find out what is wrong soon. I'll reply with any updates.

To those who have posted in this thread, or anyone else experiencing syncing problems with Strava - please disconnect and then reconnect your accounts at https://strava.fitbit.com, and let us know if syncing resumes normal behavior. If you continue to have this problem after reconnecting, please let me know so that I can assist further.
Thanks for your patience with this.
I've never seen any activity sharing between Strava or fitbit, I've tried disconnecting and connecting and nothing...
Does it make a difference that my strava activites are actually linked to my Garmin Connect account? I dont record activities on my phone with Strava...
Im in same place - no activites have ever synched!
When I try to link my account through strava.fitbit.com I get the following message returned:
502 Bad Gateway
The server returned an invalid or incomplete response.
I can see the Fitbit app in Strava and the Strava app in Fitbit but no sync occurs. I have tried countless times with same result. Am I missing something fundemental here?
also using Garmin Connect to get cycling data to Strava from my Edge 1000
I disconnected, reconnected and waited several hours, but none of my cycling logged in Strava is being synced to FitBit. When this problem is finally resolved, can we expect that all of the days that have not synced will be synced?
