If I remember correctly, there is an option to choose to sync historic data when you link the 2 accounts. If you choose to not sync historic data there shouldn't be double data on your Fitbit acc.

It seems that some progress was made, I was able now to launch again the synchronization from Fitbit to Withing but not to the end of the process, now I have a token issue with withing, and when I try to log into whiting in the menu 'help' it sends me an email with a link to confirm my account but when I confirm I get a token error .
So it seems that withing is in trouble and I still not have synchronization except with IFTT

Attempted to re-link my accounts and failed with the following error:
"Unable to authenticate Withings user. Withings server returned the following error: Exception receiving access token".

Same issue here. My Withings scale hasn't synced with Fitbit since 4/14. When I try to revoke app permissions, there are none posted. When I try to give all permissions, it lets me select the user and then errors out.

SAME! same error as the screenshot in the past two posts. Hasn't synced since 4/15/19. Same as other poster that mentioned healthmate no longer appears as a fitbit app and can't find fitbit in withings.

Agreed. This is getting ridiculous. The whole point of the wireless scale and Fitbit were so I wouldn't have to constantly log things. Now I can't trust that the sync is working.

Hi Kate...on 4-23-19 you said you would give us an update "this week". It appears most everyone is having the token issue when attempting to re-establish the Withings link.... It's late Friday afternoon....
Someone at either the Fitbit side or Withings side has dome something because the "download data" and "Unlink account" links are no longer there...so it appears everyone will have to re setup their account link...

As of 9:19 pm CDT 4/26/2019, I am still unable to sync Withings and Fitbit. The account is apparently unlinked now. I get the following error.

@PamelaBayliss I thought the same way at first, then I realised each and every post is an unhappy customer applying a bit of pressure on / reminding fitbit to prioritise it and get it fixed

@Matthew1471 Totally agree! Just because I’m using a workaround it doesn’t mean I’m happy about it. I will however exercise a bit of patience and trust that Fitbit will see the need to keep customers happy (otherwise we’ll go off to the dark side 🙂 with another brand!)

I just noticed mine was not syncing the other day and thought it might be because I got a new phone. Googled it and low and behold I find this thread. I went into my Fitbit account and I was no longer linked to the scale so went through setup and attached is the message I get. To be completely honest, I am on my third Fitbit and the weird issues just keeping popping up. I moved to Ionic and the fitness tracking completely changed and the message we keep getting is we are working on it but it has been over a year. New devices keep rolling out but fixes to what seem to be easy issues continue.

Hello @KateFitbit!
My Withings to Fitbit integration stopped working April 16, 2019 (the last weight logged is from April 15, 2019). When I try the solution suggested here, I get the following error:
And I have the right user credentials, because I can log into my Withings account fine.
Please, advise.
Thank you!

I'm getting the same error messages as everyone else, and I'm getting really frustrated!! My last sync was 4/15. For it to be 2 weeks later and still without a fix is very disappointing.

Yet another frustrated user checking in. Looks like my connection to Withings was purged by FitBit. Trying to establish a new link gives the following error:
Just to add insult to injury, Withings can pull data from FitBit just fine. Just had Withings pull my step data from FitBit. No issues whatsoever. This leads me to believe that this issue lands at the feet of FitBit.
