OK, now this is interesting.
My wife and I each have separate Fitbit accounts but we share a common Withings account where I have her set up as a second user. After encountering the same problem as others where I realized that our Nokia Body+ wasn't updating weight in either of our Fitbit profiles I tried to rerun the connection wizard for me only to be met with the "Unable to authenticate Withings user. Withings server returned the following error: Exception receiving access token".
On a whim, I logged into my wife's Fitbit profile and tried the same integration. Lo and behold, when I run the integration wizard from her Fitbit account is *does* successfully connect to her Withings profile and enables me to download all her weight data. But trying the same integration with my Fitbit account (even after I've successfully done it for her) yields the same error.
It's bizarre that it works for her account but not mine.

Great to see that people are trying to find ways around this broken oauth issue.
Today I created a new account on withings and tried to connect that to fitbit. Unsuccessfully, the same error occurs

Maybe we should take this issue higher than the moderator @KateFitbit as we dont even seem to be getting any communication now let alone a solution?

Is there a status update for this fix? My data stopped syncing from my Withings scale to my Fitbit on April 14, 2019.

@PamelaBayliss you are by far the funniest rantiest poster on this thread. Why are you here if you don’t know what the withings is? Use the power of Google 😂
@KateFitbit everyone is getting a bit fed up now, goodwill and patience running out fast...

Somewhat came to say the same thing. @PamelaBayliss you are getting all these replies because you responded initially so now you get the updates to the thread since you didn't unselect the option to be emailed on replies. At the top of the thread page you can click the gear icon and unsubscribed yourself so you wont get the updates when another person posts.
As for the thread yes it's been a while but just because there is no reply doesn't mean they aren't working to try and resolve this for us, in the initial post I couldn't unlink my account but since a few days ago they seem to have unlinked it from my account and I assume other users as well so there is movement. I assume they are trying things on the backend but haven't fully gotten it working yet.
Patience is what we have to have for now, none of us know exactly what they are doing but as someone that works on technical issues like this sometimes the issues that seem the simplest to the users are the ones that are a pain in the rear when they break.

Same problem. Worked great for months and months until my last automatic sync from Withings HealthMate android app to Fitbit's android app on April 15. I was down three pounds on 4/15, so looking at Fitbit makes me happier than looking at my truer weight at HealthMate, but it still isn't right, and what is more troubling is that Fitbit is not shown on their partner list. : (

Kate
There are few interesting recent posts now that might be helpful to your team. If you let us know what has been tested but didn't work, the community might be able to add suggestions based on their specific findings. Alternatively, you may ask questions which the community can respond and support the team that way.
You mention the team was actively working on a solution, which I don't question. The absence of an deadline suggests that the community here might be able to play a more active role to solve the issue, if it's not simply oauth2 implementation (which would allow for an approximate deadline to be given)?

I received the following error message and noticed it was different than the ones on the first page. Hope it helps with resolving this issue as I was synching up until April 15. I did try to unlink and set up again.

Hi,
When using IFTTT or your online syncing between Fitbit Ionic and HealthMate the units do not macht.
My weight is on Kgs on the HealthMate but then after syncing it seems to convert it into lbs to the Fitbit
If anyone can help or provide a solution I would appreciate.
Thanks,
Pedro

The syncing of my weight data from my Withings/Nokia account to my Fitbit account stopped working on April 15th (two weeks ago).
When I try to establish a link between my Withings/Nokia accound and Fitbit, I get the following error.
Withings Scale
Please review the following errors:
Unable to authenticate Withings user. Withings server returned the
following error: Exception receiving access token
When I try to setup IFTTT (if this then that),
Error 502
Bad gateway
ifttt.fitbit.com: Host Error
What happened? The web server reported a bad gateway error.
Withings customer support has not been able to provide any information and Fitbit isn't any better. Can we at least get a description as to what the problem is?
Thanks,
- Ed
