Versa 4 records steps twice

My versa 4 is doubling my steps. My am walk was 3,162 steps but my “today” steps were 6,324. This started at the end of July. I’ve not changed anything. Anyone else having this problem?

It's possible that a MobileTrack might be causing the double step count. To check, please tap on the options highlighted in red:

This did nothing for my doubling step issue. This am my steps on the today screen more  than doubled from what my walk actually was. I’ve had nothing but issues with my Versa 4 since Google took over. I updated my software, I deleted the app and re installed. Tired of getting inaccurate info.

this is still happening on my versa 4. I refuse to purchase a garmin just because Google chooses to rape and  run with the Fitbit technology. I wish they would fix this and leave the Fitbit alone. Not happy!
