With Fitbit's most recent update about a week ago being useless as always, the stats for steps, etc do not match when comparing the watch face with the app on phone after syncing. Ex.: Right now watch shows 29799 steps while app shows 29994. Yesterday, the difference was almost 1000 steps. Other stats have been off as well.

I was told to have the app running all day to synch data. Maybe try that as well. I manually synch myself too but leave the app open in the background. Hopefully a new update will resolve the issues everyone is having. It was definitely a bug in the last update. It caused a catastrophic crash for Fitbit. It is annoying and frustrating when you are just trying to track and use what these watches were designed to do. Google is phasing out a lot of what was Fitbit. It is sad and certainly shows their commitment to us and all the loyal users. I have had Fitbit for 11 years now and really don’t want to leave.

I've had Fitbits since 2015. Due to job I do I'm not allowed mobile phones whilst at work so I'm unable to do that. It should just work, if it's not fixed soon I will just use a pedometer and add the steps manually. It's ridiculous they can't fix these issues and also pretend it's not really happening. It happened again today, I lost 2000 steps whilst on a walk at lunch time!!!
