Fitbit Versa doesn't charge

I am having problems with my FITBIT versa. It was not holding a charge past 8 hours and now it will not charge at all. When I took it off the charger it was hot, but would not turn on. I tried doing the re-set and nothing. I have only had this since Christmas, what do I need to do?

@jubrown Try charging using a different outlet or USB port on your computer. Try wiping the contacts on your Fitbit with alcohol. If this does not help, please reach out to Customer Support to guide you through the next steps. Here's the link to Customer Support page.

I’m also having this issue with my versa. It won’t charge or turn on at all. I’ve tried restarting it but nothing happens. I’ve had mine just over a year

Hello!  I am having the same issue. My versa will not charge or turn on.   I have already tried all of the trouble shooting steps listed on the forum and website.

I have notice that my versa 2 seems to POP out of the charger when it is charging. I have had it plugged in for over 6 hours today alone and nothing changed. I have changed plugs and outlets that it has been plugged into. It still does not charge. The help desk does not work and i am about ready to RETURN this junk back to the store.

I have the same problem. My Fitbit Versa blinked two times that has 0% battery, and that's it. No charging. Black screen of death.

Same problem. Versa stopped recording steps data etc on 31st December and today just shut down completely. Black non-responsive screen is all I see now. Tried all previous suggestions to no avail.

If it's on original Versa, take it off the charger and hold down the left button and lower right for 10 seconds and hope for a logo.  If you see one put it back on charge and take it from there.  Please reply either way though.

Already tried as you suggest - nothing. Screen black, no signs of charging. Charger been tried with another Versa and works fine.

Hi
I tried your suggestion and it worked however the black screan has happened again twice since and pressing the buttons doesnt always give the logo straight away a have to wait a while then try again.  This doesnt seem right when I have only had the watch since May...my previous blaze never once had this problem and I had for 2 years...

The 2 buttons have to be held in to reboot the watch. It's not right and the lack of any response from Fitbit is rather poor, In my opinion.

I have an original Fitbit vesa which I bought in Feb 2019 and never had a problem until now!  I haven't done anything different and have followed the advice given and still its not keeping charge even when it's of! And when I eventually manage to get it to turn back on it says 0 per cent.  I'm not sure what else to do?
