Welcome to the Fitbit Community @JAYAMITSIN

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing the details of the issue you've experienced with your Fitbit Versa screen not turning on. Thank you for your efforts to resolve the issue. Please try to charge your device by following these steps: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? This article may contain steps that you've already tried, but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. I also recommend changing the clock face: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

If the issue still persists, I please confirm if you've tried to do a factory reset. Please note that you'll need to reinstall any apps on your device after the reset, and if you couldn’t sync your device, then any data on the Fitbit device will be lost. In order to do the factory reset, please do the following:

  1. On the watch, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Once the Fitbit.com/setup screen appears, open the Bluetooth settings on your phone and unpair the watch from the list. Then, please set up the watch back to your account with the instructions on this link: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Let me know how it goes, I'll be around!

Mine did the same thing, I charged it one night, put it on the next morning and sometime during the day it stopped working. I tried to turn it off and nothing shows up on the screen. All I see is a blue screen (sorta of like a TV that has been left on).  I tried re charging it again, nothing. My finance has one too,  and the charger works for her watch. I tried doing the factory reset and nothing comes up on the screen. I haven't had it a year yet. I'm guessing the screen went out on it, but I could be wrong. I don't know what to do about it.

My Versa did the same thing, and I've tried the supposed factory reset, but nothing has happened. It was on the charger for plenty of time to be charged, but the Versa responds to nothing I do with the buttons.

How can I get it replaced?

Hi!

I have a similar issue with my Versa. I couple of days ago, I started to experience problems with the screen. The clockface started to fade, sort of, and change from blue colors on a black screen, to pink on a white screen, to barely any visible numbers and letters on a dark screen. There was also a glitch, where I would still see the last screen I was on, when I was on another one. So I could for example both see the clockface and the alarm page at the same time (the numbers and letters melting together).

But today, I think the watch stopped working completely. All I get when I press any button, is a slightly lit blue screen. Nothing works. I can't restart it, turn it off or change the clockface.

Is it broken? Could I have it repaired or get a new one?

Hi! Fitbit sent me a replacement for my Versa about a year ago and that one just stopped working for no apparent reason.  I actually bought a new charger to test to make sure it wasn't that.  I called Customer Service and she had me try a few things but nothing worked. I was told that my warranty expired because they calculate from the original versa I had, not the replacement watch?  Really?  Why wouldn't they honor the replacement versa warranty?  I've had just about every single model of fitbits - the rep even commented on how long I've been with fitbit.

So they offered me 25% of certain models only - including the versa light.  None that I am interested in, as the versa was my favorite.  I am totally disappointed with this company - loyalty means nothing I guess.

I have tried everything suggested with no good result.  I cannot get the Versa to hold a charge, for starters.  It appears to be charging but it is not doing so.  When I unplugged it and tried to use it, it would not function. This started occurring about the time that the last upgrade was released, but that may have been coincidental.  Trying to change the clockface is out of the question since I can't get it to charge.
