Has anyone found a resolution to the Pandora stations not downloading to the  Versa? This thing is being returned tonight if I can't get it resolved after working on it for 3 days!

Hello @IndyNurse, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around. Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this issue about downloading Pandora stations to your Versa to my attention. First of all, I would like to suggest you to restart your Versa by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen and double check you're following these steps to download the stations.

If your Versa is still unable to download stations plug your watch into the charger. Stations download automatically when the watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network, or tap Force Sync Now in the Fitbit app to add the stations to your watch.

If the issue persists, please try the following:

  1. Restart the Versa once again
  2. Restart your phone
  3. Plug in Versa to its charger station
  4. Un-link your Pandora Account by going to Account > Versa > Media > Pandora
  5. Log out / log in from the Fitbit app.
  6. Re-link your Pandora Account
  7. Tap on Account > Versa > WiFi Settings > Manage Wi-Fi Networks to select your Wi-Fi network (if a network is listed as already connected, remove it and then re-add it and make sure it's the same Wi-Fi network that your phone is connected to)
  8. On Versa, go to and tap the Music app
  9. Tap the Transfer Music button (once it's complete you'll hear/feel a buzz) the button will read Transfer Music (This will tell you for sure that your watch is connected to the same network as the phone/app)
  10. Next, In the Fitbit app, tap on Media tile and tap on "Pandora (manage settings)" and select the radio station(s) you want to download
  11. Perform a "Force Sync Now" job
  12. On Versa, open up the Pandora app, you should see the message, Updating Stations... Download will continue in background if you leave app.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

I performed all these tasks multiple times with no success. I returned the
Versa and bought a Samsung.

This is so frustrating.  I have been trying to sync my Pandora stations all day.  I got the point that I removed all but 3 stations from my Pandora Premium account.  All that will sync are 2 stations.  One time the downloading got to 86% and then stopped and the same 2 stations downloaded.  I have removed Pandora and also unlinked my watch from Pandora, re-booted the watch and iPhone multiple times with the same result.

Update: 4/27/18

I followed the above steps again, re-booting both iPhone 6 and Versa, unlinked and re-linked Pandora, etc.  The was showing the download progress and stayed on 22% for about 30 minutes.  When checking Pandora app on the watch, tha same 2 playlists were showing.  That is fine, however, why did the iOS app stop at 22% but stations were loaded.  Also, why won’t the third station download?  I only have 3 stations in Pandora so all 3 should download.  Something appears wrong with the buggy Fitbit iOS app as it does not consistently work.

Update #2 - 4/27/18

I am either stubborn or determined to get this to work.  Without resetting the watch or unlinking Pandora, etc., I put the Versa in the charger and on the Fitbit app I connected the watch to wifi and then went to the Pandora app and chose force sync.  On the mobile app, it showed the progress slowly going up.  After and hour it was stuck, AGAIN, this time at 42%.  I waiting and checked the Versa and all 2 station now show, FINALLY, after 3 days of trying.

I believe there is a definite disconnect somewhere between the Fitbit app, Pandora app and the Versa.  Adding music/stations to any device should not be this difficult.

I am now having this problem after a week of intermittent stration updates. Now the pandora app has disappeared from my media in the Fitbit app but still shows installed in my apps. This is day two on this particular issue ugh.

Update* first excuse my auto correct 😉  I have unlinked, linked, restarted the versa, uninstalled, installed, moved to every possible place in my house for the "strongest" signal even tried to use the phone as a hotspot....nothing. I have Sirius and now paid for pandora in the hope of getting this very expensive smartwatch to work how it should. Ugh HELP Fitbit! I don't want to return it but I just might

Instructions DID NOT work!  It appears so many people are having the same issue and apparently this problem has been going on since Mid May.  What is Fitbit doing to resolve this.  This problem is a month old.

Ok I just bought two of the fitbit versa for the sole fact that they can connect to pandora and I can not get either one of them to connect. I have search the web and there is a ton of people in the same boat. Has anyone found a solution? This is my 3rd fitbit upgrade and I love them but this might be the push to get the apple watch if they do not figure this out soon. FIt bit help!

I too got it for the music and NFC(my bank isn't even on list) but I have since accepted the loss of downloading pandora, for now, and simply uploaded my own music. It's still a great buy considering the other prices out there. But I am going to get my husband a blaze that does much of the same without the pandora headache.

I have faith fitbit will fix this

It was a slow process but I moved the Fitbit, phone, and charger into the same room with my router and tried to forget about it for a half hour. My stations then downloaded successfully. I also noticed that they updated over WiFi the last time I charged my tracker. Good luck.

I'm glad it's working for some when I first got it,  it worked for 2 days then I woke up one morning and nothing was there. I got my first pandora notification on it about an hour ago. That never happened before..... maybe something changed. 🙂
