Since the latest Samsung Security System Update both my mother's phone and my phone can no longer sync with the fitbit. I've tried everything that has been recommended on the web. Can anyone help?

That's what I meant. All I need is something that counts my steps and by wearing the Inspire on my belt with the optional "clip" it does that perfectly.

I can sync my Zip when I log into my laptop, so as long as I do that every few days, I'll live with it. I looked at the Inspire, but I'm just hesitant to give FitBit any more of my money when they won't support the product I just bought from them a year ago. And the reviews I read of the Inspire talked about battery issues. So, I'll just stay with the status quo for now.

Nothing is being done...seems Fitbit doesnt have a fix for the synching issues related to the recent Samsung updates...

Hi since a recent samsung software update my fitbit app messes with the wifi and won't sync unless the wifi is off and data is on. Is there any update on fixing the issue yet? Thanks

Having the same problem. Got the update today. I even tried updating the fitbit app, and that didn't help either.

MirT - yes, the laptop sync still works. I just go on every 2-3 days to get the data uploaded. But that won't work when I go on a two week vacation, which is annoying...

It's July already, has Samsung fixed this yet? I can reset my zip and it erases all my steps so nothing gets recorded. I'm getting really tired of this! I've come down to writing my steps on the calendar now - what's the point?!?
