for the last couple of days, I have manually timed walks or runs. I see the time, when I save it, it gives me a confirming message, but then it doesn't show map or activity on either phone or Fitbit site. I tried rebooting.
I should add that the device does count the steps and exertion on graph but says, for instance, that I have 0 minutes of activity this week even though I've timed at least 2 hrs of activity.

Welcome to the Forums @cac27701! This sounds odd. Make sure that you are initializing you MobileRun activity correctly according to the help article How do I use the Fitbit app to capture GPS data? Also, to further assist you I have a couple of questions:
Regarding your active minutes, keep in mind that active minutes are only recorded for activities that last 10 minutes or longer. And that active minutes are awarded for doing activity that is more intense than regular walking. If you have more questions about active minutes, take a look at the help article What are active minutes? Or if you feel that your tracker is not working correctly, please restart it.
Keep me posted! 😉

Thanks for the reply @cac27701! I really appreciate that you have let me know that you have followed the suggestions above. Please keep me posted with the outcome of the test that you'll be performing. If the activity doesn't save please remember to answer the questions that I left on my previous post.
I look forward for your reply! 🙂

- Did you pause your activity?
- Was there GPS Signal during the run?
- When the run finished, did the distance and map save correctly?
I ad one walk again not save, and it was almost the same type of circumstance. I walked one direction into town. Saved it when I arrived, and everything recorded. But when I walked home, following all the steps above, it did not save. It gave me the kind of verbal high five at the end (YOLO, Snap, one of those words...) and then went to map page where it just seemed to go on and on with no pic. And I was in a room with WiFi. I cd go to Impact and see data but never saw a map. In the end, it didn't save that data. Basically, I've quit messing with the tracking. The device picks up my pace and seems to count that as active time. Otherwise, I use Strava to measure runs.
