But, does it work a few days later? I reset mine and it worked fine. A few days later, not so much.
Best AnswerThe only steps I have are in my original post. It works once & you must repeat it each day to get the FitBit to sync. Shame on FitBit for killing so many user experiences with an app update. I hit 17,000 miles today, but lost a couple of days because of no syncing.

Best AnswerFor what it is worth, I have been in active communication with Fitbit support with an open support ticket (as well as notifying the executive staff) that has basically gone nowhere.
In a nutshell, just find it hard to believe that Fitbit is taking this issue seriously. I have offered time and time again to test any potential solutions that might be available. Kicking the ball down the road is just alienating everyone. At a minimum, they should simply let the community know that they are aware of the issues, actively working on it, and provide realistic ETAs. Whoever is running the current show is running Fitbit into the ground.
Up to this point, our Fitbit Zip has been amazing. We rely on it every day. Branding, reliability and trust is *everything*. Simply owning up to issues brings the associated credibility. Once you lose it, you will never get it back.
Just my two cents....
Best AnswerAt least for android, they are stuck at the 8/15/19 update which equates to v3.3.1. Through the grapevine there is a supposed 3.4.0 update that hasn't yet found its way to Android google play. Only time will tell....
Best AnswerMine is doing the same thing for 4 days now and it keeps draining the battery. I have had to replace it twice in the last four days. I have taken the battery out 4 times trying to sync it, and replacing it twice. I am about to shut off the app and just use it in my laptop.
Same problem on Samsung phone, tablet and iPhone. It's got to be Fitbit's latest update. Yes, I managed to make it work (stand on one foot, face north, balance the device on your head, etc.) But within 24 hours its not working again. I used to be a huge Fitbit fan. I think these latest problems tipped the scale for me... I'm going shopping for something else. Bye bye Fitbit.
Best AnswerThere used to be a "Sync now" button on the dashboard. Not sure where it is now.
Pull down the tab at the top of the screen that says "Today." I think what you're looking for is there. That's how I sync my Zip.
Best AnswerMine syncs when it wants to.
Funny, on the app it shows the amount left in the battery, but when I refresh it says device not found.
I am using a Samsung S8 Active
