I bought a brand new battery and when I put it in it shows on the app on my phone that the battery is full but my zip is not restarting, it doesn't have the right time and its not counting my steps. I have 2 zips and neither one gives me the numbers like it should when it resets. I tap the zip and it switches from steps to calories, time, etc but it is not correct information.

@SunsetRunner Thanks you for joining the Fitbit family! I recommend performing a restart on your Zip. You have probably done this before, but it is worth trying once again. Doing this has helped other users who are experiencing wrong data issues in the past.

Also, there is a chance that the Zip is not paired to your account. Can you verify what trackers you see paired on the Fitbit app? You can find that information under "Account", you will see the pictures of the trackers that are paired.

If your Zip is not paired, please do the set up process once again until it is paired to your account.

Try that out and let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy
