@kah22 You are correct. If you have two people using the same iPad, one person has to log out of their Fitbit account in order for the other person to access theirs.

@kah22 So you can setup your brother-in-law's tracker without disturbing your sister's account by making sure that you are logged into the Fitbit App with his email and not your sister's email.
If you are logged into the App using your brother-in-law's email, the steps that you mentioned above will get you all set up.
You can log out of the Fitbit App by: clicking the "Account" button in the bottom right-hand corner, scrolling down, and then clicking the "Log Out" button at the very bottom.
