My app is also logging out multiple times a day since the last update.  Almost ready to throw the whole thing away and be done!  Please fix it fast, if it takes too long I may just give up on Fitbit.

I am having the exact same issue. To further complicate matters, that means I don't get battery alerts. That is super annoying when trying to track fitness.

This is getting old. I have been patient. Having to log back in every few hours is more than annoying. IS FitBit becoming unreliable? First I get the Aria, which turns out to be unreliable and eventually inaccurate. Now this.

agree! FitBit needs to get this fixed now!

AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!

Only second to not being able to log steps at all is this constant auto log-out on the iphone app.  I don't think I have to point out how hard it is to enter a long log-in id and password with sweaty hands (and clumsy thumbs) when you are trying to work out or check in on steps.

Ok, calm now, but please, fitbit reps, bump this up to higher priority.  PLEASE!

What about the issue where you can't add a friend from a challenge or a community group ?? I have been asking why it doesn't allow it and I can't get any resolve

Same problem with my iPhone 6s plus. The device I have came from the US. Ever since I came back, the app is not letting me login.

Here's the screenshot of the problem. Can't log in still. I asked for
advice on your Facebook Messenger. As advised I changed the settings for
date and time to automatic, yet no luck. Here's the screenshot of the
problem.
Thanks. Please resolve this.

After a week of not being able to log in, it worked today.  So, I'm not sure if something was fixed, but it's working now

I've had to sign in to my app 3 times today.  For the last week I've had to sign in just about every time I open the app, sometimes 7-8 times a day.  What's going on? I've been using app with my One for a couple of years and have only been logged out a handful of times before now.  This week, it's multiple times a day.  Please help! I've gotten a message 2 or 3 times saying it's for security reasons.

Thanks for stopping by @CNikkiJ! This sounds odd. To make sure that your app is working correctly, please log out from your app and reboot your phone. Once your phone is off, log back in.

After this if your tracker continues requesting you to log in, please take an screenshot of the error message and attach it to your reply.

Keep me posted! 🙂

In addition to logging out, I've had the app just freeze with a white screen as well. Complicating these issues is my iPad app, which in the past was not connected to my FitBit Charge HR, but logged in so I could see data, now is trying to sync with the FitBit! I know I can only have one device connected but since the iPhone app is flaky I'm not sure what to do. All of this data I hope helps you diagnose and fix the problems. Thank you!

Thanks for letting me know about this issue. Our engineers are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this situation caused. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

@moreplants If you're not able to receive the password reset emails, please check your junk or spam folders as some email clients might identify the Fitbit emails as spam.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Please fix asap.  It is a pain when I am doing an activity and I can't see my steps unless I logon the the app.  It is bad enought that the steps are not visible on the Fitbit.

I'm having the same issue, super annoying, it seriously makes me want to stop using my Fitbit and go to an Apple Watch. Why suddenly is my login needed every time I want to sync?
