The old app always showed my battery level in the upper right corner. The new app does not seem to show it anywhere. Am I missing something? I know I can swipe right on my Fitbit and I get an email when it’s low but it was handy to easily monitor it.

Thank you. Good homework. I never really use the app because my clock layout shows exact battery percentage. Many do. Mine's called 'Simple Secretary' and has been best clock face I've ever used for over 7 years now.

Hi @jcmillercfp you haven't missed anything. The battery strength is now only available on the device itself.

I just chatted with tech support. You can only get full, medium or low.
Try this step in the Fitbit App
1. Tap Today
2. Then Tap the devices in the upper left corner.
3. Then Tap your Charge 4 image on screen.
4. You will see the battery indicator on screen.

I can't find the battery level on my Charge 2 without plugging it in. I don't not having the battery percentage front and centre on the app.

That's not good. I liked having the battery percentage front and centre. Do I have to wait now until I get a message that my battery is low.

You're lucky. My Charge 2 clock face doesn't give me my battery percentage.

It's terrible that you cannot see the percentages left in your battery. This needs to be changed back. Who's the Einstein that designed this new App? An eight year old?????

Does not exist anymore - charging process is not always easy to charge and now not being able to monitor progress on phone is a HUGE step backward. Who decided same person that voted to change Coke formula ?? PLEASE bring it back !!

I agree. Not showing battery percentage is definitely a step backward. My fitbit (Sense 2) doesn't display the battery percentage so I relied on the app when I would synch it to show it.

There are too many apps to count that do show battery percentage on your Fitbit device. It is far more convenient than using your mobile device. Just a flick of my wrist. See pic. Top left corner. Just go to your clock face gallery and find one you like. Mine's called Simple Secretary. You can do a search in gallery as well. (It won't let me post pics for some reason.)

Thanks for the picture. That particular clock view isn't available though for my Charge 2. Not sure what you mean by searching in gallery??

I have a Sense 2 - when I click on the upper left corner and click on my Charge 2 - I don't get the option Gallery. Under General I have Clock Display where I can select a style for my clock. I think the problem is that my Sense 2 is very old. lol

Thanks for the suggestion. I got a new clock face that I like a lot and it always shows my battery level. Problem solved. Thanks!

The problem it creates is when you are charging or at least trying to charge your watch. You have no way of knowing that it is actually being charged until it get to the next level - and if not charging that is forever. Now you have to actually have the watch and connect and disconnect charger to get the % charged. And since it is charging - likely in another room as well . Under the old way all you had to do was look at your phone and see if it went from 5 % to 6% to see that it was actually charging and you could monitor where ever you were the level of the charge . The current app does none of that - and not sure about anyone else but my phone does not always take a charge easily - some time multiple outlets sometimes just one . The BIG question is why was it dropped ? What new value or attribute took its place -- decision needs to be re - visited
