The old app always showed my battery level in the upper right corner. The new app does not seem to show it anywhere. Am I missing something? I know I can swipe right on my Fitbit and I get an email when it’s low but it was handy to easily monitor it.

I will most likely do just that. Fitbit was the first with a step tracker, but they seem to have lost their way. The new android application doesn't show the battery charge level like it used to and with the Flex2, the best you can do is to click 3 times to get to the device where it only shows as "full", medium", or "low". This is a far cry from the previous percentages ... they don't even tell you what the medium or low translate to in terms of charge percentage.
And while I am ranting, Fitbit no longer offers a small tracker like the several years now discontinued Flex2. They only offer much larger "fitness watches" which I definitely do not want or need. Fitbit is missing out on that segment of the market completely in my humble opinion.

Feel the exact same way as you…I only check my steps and my battery status. This new app design is garbage

Me too I like to look at the first screen on the app and see where the battery is at.

My Charge4 use to show battery % by swiping up on the clock face and was an option as a mini icon on the clock face. That option is no longer in the device settings. Definitely as essential as step, heart and sleep data.

I used to love this app, but it has gone way downhill since the recent Google update. There is no longer a battery percentage indicator, only a battery level indicator for medium, low, etc and it is too small to see the battery percentage on my Fitbit Charge 4. Also the interface is terrible now and you have to go down many levels just to get basic information that used to be available just by looking at the main screen. I will definitely consider Garmin and Samsung for my next device.

Please bring back the old app where I can see the battery level. It's too tiny on the device, plus how do you check the charge level when it's off charging in another room. Please, please bring that feature back on the app.

Sorry TheVinny, your answer is not correct for all varieties of Fitbits. I have the Charge5 and none of the clocks in my gallery have battery percentage showing.

This was a dumb idea. The ability to see the battery percentage was very helpful to EVERYONE on their phone, but especially me, whose Fitbit face no longer works. That’s right, it is a DEAD SCREEN. It doesn’t turn on AT ALL, when lifting your wrist OR squeezing the sides, so I have no way of knowing my battery percentage any more. I’ve had several broken fitbits, really not happy with the products…

Would love a clock face that shows battery percentage on my Fitbit but doesn't seem to gd an option on my Charge 5.
What other apps would be able to show the charge level of my Fitbit?

Just another bone-headed Fitbit move to further alienate customers by depriving them of a simple thing that we all want and need. Way to go Fitbit developers! So obvious that you never check with consumers as to what we really want or need.

Your call volume is high because everyone wants to see their battery level on the app. It's too small to see on the device. Right now mine is charging and I can't tell on my app how close to being done it is. If you don't add that back to the App, can you recommend a different or comparable brand.

Man, if the battery percentage isn't even available on ANY Fitbit Charge clock face, and they also took it off the new mobile device app layout, then somebody really messed up. Only thing I can suggest is go to the suggestion board https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Product-Feedback/idb-p/features and let them know what you want. Earlier this year when I got my first Sense 2, I noticed there was no way to turn the watch screen off after rotating my wrist to see my numbers. That was weird and new for me. Nobody likes having to wait 6, 8 or 10 or more seconds for screen to turn off especially when in bed at night just checking what time it is. So I posted on the forums and they directed me to the "Suggestion Forum" (this here is more of a complaint forum) and mine wasn't the first one. Many others asked same thing I did.
Well, not even a week later a new update came in and sure enough it was fixed. Just by covering the screen with your hand it turns off whole screen now. So this issue here with the Charge, if true, that no clock faces have battery percentage available, nor on the app itself, is a big one and I'm sure will be addressed. Many of the clock faces are 3rd party, like the one I use, so if they can't add it then that would be because Fitbit won't let them.

Just curious if this is no longer true? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8oQpd81swc
Shows that if you swipe your Charge from bottom up that the battery percentage shows up on top of screen.

I don't know about other fitbits, but my old school Versa has plenty of clock face options that show battery percentage. That's not the issue here. People want the battery percentage indicator on the app so that we know how charged our Fitbit is without having to go and constantly look at it, especially if it isn't nearby.

Well, big difference then if NO battery percentage available on the device itself or the app, verses, device itself shows actual battery percentage AND the app shows low, medium or full.

This thread was started due to the lack of a battery percentage indicator ON THE APP. If you also don't have one on the watch itself then you're doubley screwed. But again, that's not what this thread is about.

No, the original thread question stated that they couldn't find find any battery indicator anywhere on the new app. Now, we know that's simply not true. Takes an extra step and only shows low, medium or full but is there and sure better than nothing at all. Additionally, other comments stated no battery anything on the device itself. I still don't know for a certainty whether that's true or not, but the video I posted shows how easy it was in 2021 to get to battery percentage on the device (Charge 5) itself. Swipe screen from bottom upwards and is right there at top of screen.
IF it's true that the reading itself shows up on the Charge and there is a battery level indicator on the app, then the only real issue here is that people prefer the battery percentage on the app itself instead of 3 levels. I get it. Is still a step backwards as it is. But definitely not the same thing as no battery indicator available at all as some in this thread make it sound like.

Not sure but I think I started the thread -- and just raised the issue that percentages were taken away on the app - ( Sense ) which created issues. Issues that have been brought up via many of the comments - regardless of if it is elsewhere on the watch ( not helpful when charging ) or levels - low is 1% or 25% - not really helpful --- There appears to be no valid reason to replace actual percentages with 3 levels for users so the hopefully this single issues is communicated and addressed . Can't image consumer input was take the percentages away - percentages on the app are needed - replacing it on the watch not a comparable swap . There is limited space for info on the watch such as time , steps ,heart rate , date etc I th ink are more needed to refer to on a more frequent basis. While checking my battery and determining if it is actually charging is more of an event.
