When I try to sync my Fitbit with my new iPhone 11 pro with iOs13, it fails and gives the error message that I need to enable Bluetooth (even though Bluetooth is running). Turning off/on Bluetooth or closing the app doesn’t help.

I’m having the same issue- unable to sync or even pair my versa with iPhone 11 pro. The workaround sometimes works but it always stops at some point and then I need to go over again. This is really annoying, Fitbit should ensure the compatibility of one of the best selling brands but how come it’s taking so long!? I’m so annoyed that I took out my Apple Watch and now am considering to replace my versa...

Did you try deleting the App and downloading the latest version? That worked for me and did not delete my data.

I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max, with iOS 13. My notifications did not work until I did this procedure. This fix worked for me, and I have all my notifications again. Thanks.

My Previous post pertains to this suggested fix.
Hi everyone. It's nice to see you here in the Forums, and welcome to our new members. I'm sorry for the delayed response.
I appreciate you for the steps that you've tried on your own, as well for sharing other suggestions in this thread. You've done a good job and I'm glad that the steps advised in this thread worked for some of you.
As you may know, the Fitbit app hasn't been optimized to work with the iPhone 11 Pro and this might be cause some issues when syncing or receiving notifications. Our team is working hard to add this phone to our supported devices list and you can also add your vote to this request posted in the Feature Suggestions board. The more votes an idea receives, the better chance it has of getting the attention of the developers.
For the ones that are still having this issue, while there isn't a guarantee that it'll always work there are some steps that we can try to troubleshoot the Bluetooth connection between your Fitbit devices and your phones. Please give a try to the following in the given order:
For the ones that are having issues to receive notifications, try the steps above and then set the notifications one more time. Also, make sure to enable the three types of alerts that appear on your phone's settings > Notifications > Messages.
Keep me posted!

None of the steps worked, why don’t you guys update FitBit app to fix the issue unless it’s an iOS issue.!!

That's right. Remove your Fitbit from your old phone first! Go to Bluetooth and click the Fitbit, and tell it to Forget This Device.
Then start again.

What I find it odd Is that until yesterday, my iPhone 11 Pro had no problem finding Fitbit, this morning is just not finding it. I’ve tried everything, from turning off my phone, trading off Bluetooth, removing the app, and nothing seems to work.

Sounded like a good solution, but it didn’t work. Fitbit needs to update app.

Got the phone yesterday and constant problem trying to sync. Luvkily my old Iphone is doing the syncing to feed info to WW. This is a pain. Get it fixed.

An add on to the iPhone 11 Pro issues: I just traded in my iPhone 7 for the 11 Pro and have an iPhone 8 for work. The Bluetooth on my new 11 pro will not find the device in Bluetooth at all. Luckily I have a couple of other phones to troubleshoot
iPhone 7 is running iOS 13.2.3 - pairs and syncs no issue (even w new iOS)
iPhone 8 is running iOS 12.3.1 - pairs and syncs (just added the Alta to it this morning so that I keep at least one working app when the old phone gets sent in)
iPhone 11 pro is running iOS 13.2.3 - will NOT find the Alta HR on Bluetooth at all. Everything has been toggled on/off/reset with no impact

Your new iPhone 11 or 11 pro will not find your Alta or other Bluetooth devices until you turn off Bluetooth on your older phones. Once you’ve turned it off on the 7 & 8 phones, the 11 should connect.

Tried that with Bluetooth off on the old phone before giving up and connecting to the work phone. No luck
