Same thing for my charge 2.  Stopped working about 2 days ago.

Mine stoped showing this 5 days ago. It doesn't even show it on the charge 2 just get 2 lines then when I check again I'm doing cardio/fat burn even when I've been sat down for past few hours doing nothing. This then registers falsely on my workout programme which is annoying

Since the problems started suddenly, the first thing I would do is restart your Fitbit devices. Tap Here for instructions. If that does not do the trick, please let me know.

Hi carol-B, that is one of the first things that I did but it still hasn't fixed the problem. The only thing my Fitbit is doing is tracking my steps, not my bpm or route I take on my exercise

Hi @Cazzie3500. Smart of you to try the restart first! Questions for you -

 - When I have the BPM tracking on my Charge 2, I see lights flashing. Do you see flashing lights?

 - Is your setting for heart rate on Auto or On?

Afraid I don't use the exercise tracking so cannot help there. But let's get the BPM fixed, then hopefully someone else can help with that situation.

Hi Cassie 3500 and carol B,

Here are the steps that I did to get it working again.
1) I did restart the charge 2
2) On the Bluetooth menu of my iOS device I chose forgot this device.
3) Then I opened the Fitbit app and clicked on the accounts tile on the lower right side.
4) Now look for notifications and select it. It will say it needs to pair with your Bluetooth and ask for permission.
5) Once you give it permission and it is paired again it should start working again and show on your Bluetooth menu again.
That's how I got mine to start again.
Good Luck

Hi Carol-B, I have flashing green lights at the back of my Fitbit and I have cleaned that aswell in case it was dirty. I did the steps that Troy also suggested but that hasn't sorted it out either 😩

Going to to go in another walk in a bit & will try the route tracker again and see if it works this time as that could have been because my phone was only on 50% charge, though I can't really see that making much difference

it is really frustrating and will probably something simple

Hi Troy, I have just done this and it's still not working just two lines still showing. I even rebooted it again after following your steps but to no avail. I hoped your advise would have sorted it for me.

i have contacted Fitbit about this problem & will wait to see what they suggest

Ok thanks, it was worth a try anyway.

Fitbit are sending me a replacement one as they think this one could be faulty especially as it's only 3 weeks old

Hello Don,
In my case I think it had more to do with the Bluetooth connection than the reboot. Try a new pairing even if it shows that it is connected.

My hr is not updating. I've tried all suggestions. It's says it's connected on the iOS app. I've rebooted , reinstalled, notifications are on, do not disturb is off, I've spoke to three Fitbit reps and they have had no other complaints about this issue. They don't know how to fix it. I need help

Did you try disabling and reconnecting your Bluetooth?

Now it says it's syncing but won't connect. I checked my Bluetooth in the car and it works. It's not my iPhone. My fit bit is three weeks old, it's now or never to return to kohls. Not sure what to do. I want my hr back.
