Charge 2 not syncing with iPhone 8

My Charge2 won’t sync with my iPhone8. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling the Fitbit but that doesn’t work. I saw a fix that said to sync on my old device, which is not an option since it was damaged - any suggestions - right now I have an expensive pedometer masquerading as a charge 2, since that’s about all I can use it for

I got a new Fitbit Charge 2 just after Christmas. It worked at first but suddenly stopped syncing. I’ve tried all the steps suggested but cannot get it to sync. My phone and apps are always updated. Any suggestions please? Thanks

I wish I'd gone to the end of string because this worked for me too . . . after trying all the other "junky" suggestions.  THANK YOU

First of all, I sincerely apologize for the delay in my response. @Tdruns, I appreciate you have taken the time to let us know your issue has been resolved, I'm very glad. 

 

@lorrdevl, I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for letting us know you've already tried several troubleshooting steps. At this moment, I would like to gather some information from you so we can check this further:

 

  • OS version running on your iPhone 8
  • App version installed on your phone. (go to Account > Help to get it)
  • Charge 2 version (tap on the device's image in the App Dashboard to get it)

My iPhone 8 Plus will still not sync, my old one worked just fine then it broke and the replacement shipped will not sync. I have tried all the suggested steps over and over!! We have already returned the charge 2 and versa my mom and husband received for Christmas because we didn’t want them to not sync also and not be able to return. When will this iPhone 8 Plus issue be resolved???

You ROCK! Nothing was working. I deleted the app off my old phone and instantly my new phone found it. Thank you!!
