Wait until you have been using your Fitbit C3 for 2-3 years. You will have forgotten those lost 2-3 weeks of step-counting. Enjoy your cool Fitbit!

This is true! I'm a bit more concerned with the sleep patterns, i'm working
on sleep cycle dysrythmia and wanted to provide my MD w the data but yeah
the step counter is also pretty cool!

Hi,

After latest app update for iphone this week I have issues with syncing and app is not showing me full data,

for example after many tries I managed to get data for today but still missing data in the app for yesterday,

also for today I am not able to see my heart rate or active minutes but can see steps and floors and cals.

One of my friends is seeing the same issue so it is not only me. Can you advise why this is happening and is this issue is being looked at and will be fixed soon?

Thanks,

I like looking at my sleeping patterns. I’m a light sleeper. Probably don’t get as much as I should. Been that way all my life. I’m sure your Dr. also will think your C3 is cool and very valuable!

Mine is doing the same, getting a bit fed up now went wrong last week and thought I'd sorted, now it looks like it's syncing then when done says last synced yesterday 07:21, and medium battery, battery is 100% so obviously not syncing, am getting messages and calendar entries though?

If you go to settings then about then clear data it might start syncing
again. Seems like if you don't sync frequently it gets too full of data,
unable to sync and then the settings like the clock and battery start
showing the wrong readings

Thank you, I spent ages last night trying to sync it, gave up and thought I would delete everything this morning and completely reinstall. However got up went into room where I leave my phone and it was fully caught up even with last nights sleep. Haven't a clue what's going on.

Yes sometimes this happens. Good you did not overreact, slept on it, had a new course of action. Sometimes mine won’t sync, but will an hour later. I think sometimes the Bluetooth connection doesn’t connect.

It got fixed itself somehow 😕 I already gave up on trying but then it started syncyning again. Don’t known why this is happening but happened first time to me

Glad it’s working. Just remember if it doesn’t sync be sure G3 is enabled in Bluetooth. Sometimes if it doesn’t sync a simple shutdown and turn on of device does the trick.

Where on the fitbit app does it tell you if you have the latest version? And is there a function to ensure it is automatically updated - given you seem to do a lot of patch updates?

UPDATE:

I had five days of syncing problems with Charge 3. It started working again only after i checked a locations permissions checkbox 'option' with a pop-up message that said syncing would not be possible without checking the box (not really an option then is it?).

Before this, i had tried restarting fitbit and reloading fitbit app - neither of which made any difference. I can't remember when or how the two checkbox options appeared about my location - may have been just after i reloaded the fitbit app. The bottom box was already checked but not the top one which was giving fitbit permission to track my location (i think). After i checked the box my fitbit instantaneously synced five days of data. I'm guessing it was a fitbit app patch change that caused my syncing problems, presumably adding that requirement.

I wouldn’t exactly call this a solution,it’s not working as it is supposed
to. This resetting is a huge pain in the butt

Add me to the list of frustrated Charge 3 owners. Mine stopped syncing yesterday morning. I have spent the last hour+ going through this thread and trying all of the recommendations. No joy 🙁

I have a life to get on with so I guess I’ll live without my Fitbit till some figures this out.

Not a a happy camper!

I got mine bavk in sync by doing this:

On the watch clock-face, swipe right till you see "settings"

Tab on "settings"

Tab on "about"

You will see your version 28.20001

Tab on "clear user data"

Tab on "tick"

I lost all previous data of 14days, but at least I got it synced.  It's been ok since 4weeks ago.

Good luck!
