I walk about 4-5 miles every day. The app always displayed a graph indicating time in each zone. I cannot post a picture of the graph because it is now missing from all my walks. The app has not updated, where did it go? I updated to charge 6 one month ago from charge 4, I noticed at that time the graphs were way out of whack from my charge 4 data with regards to time spent in each zone, previously most time was in fat burning zone, having reached it about 5 minutes into my walk. Now, sometimes, I skip fat burning entirely and seem to jump into max heart rate zone, which makes no sense as I only walking about 2 miles per hour.

Hi Ken43, I tried to respond to your other post with more detail, spent over an hour taking pics, providing explanations and uploading pics to show different views and how to get their, HOWEVER, the system said the body of my text contained a forbidden content (date in numerical format year/month/day, but in actuality it did not. tried to upload a few times, then got hit with another message saying basically spamming, so I gave up.
what fitbit device, iphone are you using and is all the software up to date?

I agree entirely. I'm a swimmer and every second counts...now I get a swim time rounded to the minute! I'd encourage everyone to contact Fitbit customer service, voice your concern and ask for a refund or a roll back to prior version. Refund or Rollback! If enough people say it maybe they'll listen.

my problems started with the “upgrade” to 4.04.
I have not transferred my account to Google. I hope that the reason you have it and we don’t is not because you’re on Google with a charge six.

I have "upgraded" to version 4.04, I have not transferred my fitbit account to google and I have a Charge 4. When I tap on the exercise I get the basic details (Run: duration, distance, average pace, zone minutes, steps and energy burned). If I wait 30 to 60 seconds, and then scroll down, I see the map of my run. If I scroll up, I see the heart rate chart for the run, time in each zone, pace by lap and elevation. But, sometimes when I scroll, the app freezes and must be closed and restarted.
I believe this additional data/graphics is not stored locally on your phone but is stored on a fitbit/google server. The lag is probably due to a server issue. And you probably need a good Wi-Fi / internet connection.
Even though I can get the additional exercise data/graphics, they are inferior to the version 3.xx graphics.

Now after 12 hours I can see more data although in a different format the thing that’s still missing is the seconds.
my Wi-Fi works fine it’s not that. And strangely enough as soon as I finished the data was transferred to Strava as I got the notification that my walk was uploaded to Strava! And Strava has the second as well!!

So as hard as this is to believe, the following is the response that I received from Fitbit support.
”
Fitbit recently made a new Update, the update made some changes in the Fitbit app.
The seconds no longer show in the runs.
Shows only the minutes.
We understand that you may be disappointed by this change, but there are a number of reasons
why Fitbit has made this decision. The new Fitbit app is more stable and reliable, and it offers a
number of new features and improvements.”
I know… unbelievable!

As far as I understand, the mobile app will round the time to the nearest minute, absolutely useless to anyone trying to improve their timing on a particular exercise. I agree, the graphs are not as good as the previous version. I wish they would pick a standard for zones. On my fitbit I get fatburn, cardio and peak and on the chart I get Light, Moderate, Vigorous and Peak. I prefer the terms fatburn, cardio and peak. Can't figure out why they don't stick to a standard across the platform.

Yes, I was forced over to Google when I purchased the Charge 6 after my Charge 4 bit the dust. I never had issues with charts on the app with my charge 4, probably because I was still on the fitbit website. I am still on the fitbit website, but using my Google login and that is when I started getting the delays with graphs and my mobile app freezes up on my iphone all the time. I thoght the issue was my wifi connection, so I upgraded to a much faster modem, but the issue is of looading delays is still here. It sometimes takes 20 to 30 seconds to see my charts on the app. I agree with you, the lag is probably due to the fitbit/google server. I have to reload the charts each time I check them.

Thank you for this post!!! Agree with you 100%.. i just can not figure out how this new app release is helping Fitbit, as it seems we users in general are… how to put this nicely… well..not happy.. no point stickng to fitbit anyomore.

@Bobmtrack It's even worse than you state. The duration is not rounded up/down to the minute, fitbit is just dropping the seconds. In your example, 30 minutes and 28 seconds is rounded down to 30 minutes. Guess what, if you ran 30 minutes and 59 seconds, fitbit would record that as 30 minutes (not 31). And ... fitbit uses the incorrect duration (0:30:00 instead of 0:30:59) to calculate pace.
I posted this last week proving the incorrect pace calculation ...
Fitbit's Pace Calculation is Incorrect!
I find it hard to believe that fitbit/google put together a fitness tracker application development team without anyone who understands how we use fitness trackers.

I hate that I can't see my stats for exercises anymore! No graph, no activity zone, no maximum heart rate...
It's so annoying to pay for an app that removes functions like that, is there a way to get reimbursed? Fitbit support is completely useless, they don't (or pretend to not) understand what my problem is. They always tell me to restart my watch although I told them that my heart rate is still recorded by my watch, but that I can't see the graph of it DURING an exercise ON THE APP.

I’m having the same issue with the iOS app version 4.04. However, the web interface seems to still show the exercise data with the zone minutes and heart rate visuals.
Go to https://www.fitbit.com/activities, and then select View Details for any of the activities listed under Activity History.

Thank you for this Charlie!
Still disappointed that this data is not available in the app interface any more. I dont understad what this update aims at?!? Getting too complicated to me. All the usefull, easy-to-use -features are gone.. so frustrating…

@vee @Ken43 My apolgies, but the moderator Lizzyfitbit deleted my last responses to you both. Apparently I was multi posting, which I was advised against Community Guidlines. I looked at these guidlines and could not find this rule. I thought if I hit reply and mentioned you specifically my responses would be clear and the thread easier to read. I was advised it made the thread less readible. I just learned about this @ feature, so I hope this helps. Most days I find the thread very difficult to read because I do not what comment the writer is referring to, the one directly obove it or one that made 3 or responses above that. I think the content of my reply might have been the issue to @vee , but I was only clarifying a previous response to @Ken43 regarding how to select GPS settings. I hope that everyone gets the charts working correctly on their mobile app in the future, as I have said and tried to describe in the past, it works for me. All the best

Hey @Silvergrizz ,
I also find this forum difficult to follow. If you change your display settings to Threaded format, it's a little easier. It shows who is being replied to, but not the specific post being replied to. I assume it's the post directly above the reply.

Thanks @mcw53 The threaded format does make more sense to me, much appreciated.

Anyone know of any third party apps which would be more-useful? May end up digging out my old Huawei tracker
------------
It would be useful to know what these reasons are - unlikely to be customer requests. Sounds like the usual IT response of this is what we’re doing, too bad if you don’t like it.
