Fitbit Update 9/19/16

This issue where users experience a red "(not synced)" error next to their exercise logs on the iOS App has been resolved with the release of iOS App version 2.27. Click here to update your App if you haven't already.

Thanks you for everybody's patience while we worked this one out!

Fitbit Update 5/23

There is currently a bug where some iOS users see a red "(not synced)" error next to some of their exercise logs. Our team is aware and currently working on fixing this bug. Apologies for any inconvenience that this creates.

Please do not uninstall/reinstall the Fitbit App, uninstalling/reinstalling the Fitbit App could cause data loss.  If possible, I would also recommend logging activities on Fitbit.com until a fix is available.

My tracker had the wrong date when I started my walk. I had over 7300 steps, but when I came home and synced the device, I only was credited 3700 steps. I can't find them at all.

Just saw this. I have tried everything from reinstalling my Flex to restarting it to rebooting my phone & computer. Good to know a fix is in the works. Very frustrating to not have your workouts recognized

I have the same problem too and find it incredibly frustrating. I ran my first half marathon on Sunday and was hoping to look at my mile splits etc when I got home, but the run didn't sync and so none of that data is available - which is why I bought the Fitbit in the first place!

After today's update I tried to track a 14 mile "run" that was really my drive home. It synced immediately after. I would hope that a true run around that length (I had a 12 mile real run fail to sync) would sync now as well. Who wants to be the first to try?

It still doesn't work consistently. I already tried yesterday.

My charge hr wasn't having a problem syncing. Was very excited to use my brand new $200 blaze I bought. Very upset and disappointed I went out for over 6 miles today and it won't sync :(. And I'm not in shape- that was a lot of hard work for me.

I have only one unsynced walk (35 km) from 21st of May. Still not synced even after the last update.

1 week without sync issues at all... even before the latest update. It's hard to understand when and why it sync or not.

Installed the latest update & still can't sync. How long does it take to fix!!

Yup - still not syncing, but LOOK! We have a new dashboard .... seriously, please take care of performance issues before you start decorating.  The old dashboard is fine, the syncing is not.

Have you installed v2.24 from the App Store? My unsyched walks were fixed without issue.

Mine updated to v2.24 and they still do not sync.

So the app update has fixed the sync issue for me BUT it's broken music/podcast playback when I open the app. Does Fitbit have a minimum number of annoyances that need to be present in each release?

Derrick I got excited this morning 6/24/16 because the App appeared to capture the manual update I put in for wieght training today. I did not immediatly get the NOT SYNCED error from the app. However, I closed the app and then reopened it to see the updates applied on fitbit.com (laptop). When I re-opened I got the old message all of us have been seeing NOT SYNCED, Entered the Data again on fitbit.com and re-opened the App where the update appeared in App. Opening the App on my phone is the ONLY way I can force a Sync. The Dongle used with the Fitbit Connect app on Laptop has not worked in Over a Year now.

Please send broadcast out next release, I am tired of entering Data twice manually. This has got to be giving FITBIT tons of Bad Press and both issues need to be fixed immediately.

I too was happy Wednesday as I updated the app on my iPhone and the daily
walk synced right after I finished (using the iPhone app track exercise). I
immediately was successful in syncing my outstanding unsynced walks.

However Thursday after my walk it did not sync. I have tried several times
but no luck, still getting the red banner saying 'try again to sync'.

The update has not fixed the problem.
