The problem is over a week and still no solution.
Why not just do a rollback to previus version of the app?

Been happening to me all week. If isn't resolved soon I am going to have to find an alternative to Fitbit. I'm a long time Fitbit user, but I'm training for a marathon and I want accurate data on my runs.

Since Tuesday 2/25 when the app automatically updated I have had the same issue. No maps showing your rout and mile marks. No calories burned, nothing. Just a message that says “not enough data available.

Heart rate and active minutes are recorded but when I log a weight training workout I get a (null) not enough data message. It is recording calories burned and active minutes. I have tried repeat synching but it does not seem to help. This only happens for weight training.
Other activities such as walks are recorded with full data. This has been happening since the most recent Fitbit app update 3 days ago.
I am on an iPhone XR with the most recent iOS 13.3.1.

I have the same problem but my time zone is set to the correct region and it still does not recognize teh exercise data that the watch has recorded.

THIS DOES NOT WORK A similar problem exists with manually recording a workout on the APP. The device AND the Heart Rate toggle show your workout and Heart Rate but when you manually log the exercise the Acrivity log says not enough data and doesn't show your heart rate. I have quit the App and signed in again ans still the same problem. My sleep log is accurate but the activity log issue persists.

The "Fix" does not work. I have had this problem for a couple weeks now. in fact before and AFTER the new app version was downloaded. The watch is recording the heart rate. But when you manually enter the exercise, Bootcamp, Yoga etc. the App exercise log says "not enough data" for Heart Rate Steps Calories etc. even though the heart rate data is there on the App itself! In fact, this morning the App Auto recognized part of my workout and recorder "Aerobic Workout" with the steps calories etc. So when I manually posted the whole exercise session it still said Not Enough Data even though it auto posted part of the workout. Also, the auto posted/ app recognized data stayed on the exercise log even though I overrode (or tried to) the exercise log with my manual entry.
Update. And get this. Later tonight the App purportedly recognized the exercise and from 9-10 said I was at 100% fat burn and a 65 Avg heart rate. However, the "auto recognized" aerobic exercise from 9:10- 9:27 is still there and it shows 3 min at peak and 9 min at cardo and 5 at fat burn with an Avg Heart rate of 116. Sooo where did those 12 minutes of red and orange go on the App between 9-10? Even if there was no other cardio and peak (which by the way there was according to the Heart Rate data) the App is wrong. In other words the App cannot be trusted at this point.

Well this morning the sleep tracking in the app finally fixed itself after almost a week of displaying the start/end times about 5 hours earlier than actual. I didn’t log out/in or quit the app either today. I’m glad its back to normal, but WTF?

Same here.

1. I am unable to add a distance to a run I did yesterday. It automatically recognised the exercise so I’d like to add the distance but each time I add it, it flashes up for less than a second and then disappears. This happens each time I try to add it.
2. I did another run today with my phone tracking it. When the phone synched, it has recorded two runs instead of one, one at 5am during which I was asleep) however it recorded the route of what I actually did later; and then it’s recorded a second run at 0830 when I actually did the run today, but it hasn’t recorded the route.

This is not solved for me either. I’ve tried all the fixes suggested and it’s still not working to log my exercise. So frustrating! It may be time to switch to an Apple Watch.

It is rather confusing as well as frustrating as for some activities it doesn’t register anything, for others the time but no km or calories and I just did an interval training (it is Saturday evening and the time is set correctly) and it actually showed it under ‘next week’ as Sunday.

Why they roll out updates without beta testing is beyond me. It’s inexcusable. And no provisions to be able to tool it back to the previous version? Developers are incompetent, IT management (if any) too.
Fitbit doesn’t seem to value IPhone users as customers. I’m done with them.

Logging out, closing app, opening and logging back in removed the “not enough data available” message and showed calories burned and other data but not my map.

I'm just glad I finally found a thread with a FitBit moderator acknowledging the problem!! When I called in about it a couple of days ago the Support person acted like no one there was aware of the issue. Subscribing to this thread and will post let the other threads on this know to come here as well.
