I just installed update 3.16 and did a 10 minute test walk. All appears to be back to normal as the activity posted with correct time, gps map, and calorie burn. I’ll give it another try after lunch to see if it’s the same.

Any news on an update to this problem?  Seems a lot of people have the same problem. Would be nice to get some update.

Yaassss!!! I went to the App Store and hit the update button. Both my today’s sleep and Yesterday’s exercise start and end times returned to normal.

Installed the latest version of the app, 3.16. Everything appears to be working again. Took a while but back at last.

Hi Lizzy,

I have my Charge 3 synced to my iOS device.  Charge 3 is recording activity minutes during my sleep time; midnight to 2 pm for the last 3 nights AND is not recording my exercise active minutes. I did a strength training (weights) 1 hour session yesterday, manually entered the workout and it was not recorded.  This has not happened before after 2+ years as a Fitbit user.  I upgraded Alta HR to the Charge 3 and super frustrated.  I have not updated my device to 13.3.1 due to other users noting sync issues as well.  Please advise when a fix in the app will be available.  I am disappointed to say the least at the performance of this tracker since I've only had it for 1.5 months.  May need to return it and look at other options.

I’m in Brisbane Queensland no daylight savings here, thinking I might try apple products if they can’t resolve the problems.

Also my screen is dull and won’t scroll now not recording data. I’ve done all the restart tips and it doesn’t work. I’m in Brisbane no daylight saving here. Just about to go to a different product if they can’t fix the problems.

I updated my app, but my device (Inspire HR) still shows it using the old version 3.12 - I uninstalled and reinstalled, synced and tried restart, still showing the old version of the app. NOT AMUSED!

I’ve updated, but what about the previous walks I’ve done that have two things listed. Are they permanently detached now?

I agree. They should have it fixed straight away.

Installed the latest update today and manually tracked my run. The app seems to have tracked accurately and data was saved appropriately -- all the data were available and time was correct. The update did not correct the data for last week. These runs are still logged with "not enough data available" and wrong time of day.

I also updated the app and then to be safe, rebooted my Fitbit.  I then recorded my yoga class manually and it both recorded and transferred to my YES Health app correctly.  My manually entered exercise from last week is still incorrect and I imagine it will just stay that way. Oh well.

Funny that the moderators haven’t commented telling folks the issue has been fixed in the new update.

Same issue with 5 hour time difference. Also showing 0 calories. Not allowed to edit. Causes other issues with manual entries. Seems to have started with recent app update - 3.15.1?

Best Answer

I'm having the same issue. All activity I enter manually is off by a number of hours. This issue started for me on Feb 25 2020. Please fix and advise if we will have to fix all manual sessions manually or if they will be automatically corrected.

It actually gets more fascinating....

I supposedly went in 2 walks today (it was one) where the first one started at 18.33h and the second at 18.39 and on the first walk in 6 minutes I walked 2.2 km. Seems I am much fitter than I thought.... 😡

EVERYONE PLEASE:
1) Update your Fitbit app to 3.16, it's the newest version that was release within the last 24 hours that will fix the issue for ongoing exercise (not the old exercise).

2) Please vote on the following suggestion to turn off Notifications on a post once it's been resolved so we all stop getting 50 emails a day on this thread 😉
