FitBit Charge 3 wont sync or update.

My Charge 3 stopped tracking sleep, syncing. Won’t recgnize Bluetooth after working fine for one week. I have reset everything and now it won’t see the charge even though all other Bluetooth devices work with my phone (iPhoneXS). Attempted to call customer service but can’t seem to get past the login because none of their associates can speak English well enough to input my email address. This is ridiculous. I pre-ordered this device and it has been a bust so far!! It fails to track my sleep for the past 3 nights and won’t aync at all!!

If you're going to replace your Fitbit, see if Amazon has it. May be less
then the discounted price. Also Fitbit has a sale on the Versa if you're
interested in that model. The Versa is trying to compete with Apple Watch
but if you only want steos, etc then the Versa is your best bet.

I am feeling really ticked off have a 10 month old fitbit versa attempted to update the firmware as told now the versa is completely useless all i have on screen is the diamond shape of dots and writing telling me to download the fitbit app which i have done many times now to no avail. Dont tell me to facory reset pleas as the screen doesnt move

You need to call customer support at 877.623.4997. This is the North
America fitbit customer support center.

I've done everything that's been suggested still no joy , I dont seam to be the only person with this problem

Reset it. Put the charge 3 on your charger. Then press and hold the button
(it's the one on the left side of the device) until the screen goes black
and you see a white bar. Let go of the button. Once the process is
finished, you should see a smiley face and then the device turn on. Try to
see if it will sync. Good luck

Done that about 4 times thanks, wont reboot wont clear data , tried switching bluetooth on off tried deleting app installing app no joy .Sent from Samsung Mobile on O2

If it's less than a year, fitbit will replace it for free. Otherwise,
you'll either have to get a new one but talk to them first...unless you're
fed up with them!

Call the customer service number they will either walk you through a correction or depending on the age of toe Firbit replace it.

Apparently Fitbit upgraded version devices to detect change in breathing
during sleep for the Versa and charge 3. From my understanding, anyone who
updated their tracker has experienced a freeze to their hardware. Not
aware any fixes yet.

This solution did not work for me. My Fitbit won’t sync and has the wrong time. That stinks since it’s my watch too.

Call customer the customer service number they will get it to sync or possibly send you a replacement depending how old yours is

Contacted fitbit after a little toing and frowing they took my one back and sent me a new one

I am not happy with FitBit and the apps.  For 4 days now I haven’t been able sync my Charge 3.

I have tried every suggestion and still nothing. I have the App on my iPhone and on my iPad and neither is working. Keeps telling me unable to detect device.

I think this will be my last FitBit, to stressful.

... and now my Fitbit display is all streaked up. I can still read it and it's still syncing (briefly wasn't), but yeah, but once this thing is unreadable, I'm going to try an Apple Watch, even though I'm concerned about the battery life. But all batteries die. How many batteries truly live???

I’ve had to delete the app, turn off my phone, turn the phone back on and then reinstall the app. Devise starts to sync after that. Been a regular thing for about 2 weeks now. Don’t know if it’s the app or the Charge 3 but it is very annoying!
