My Charge 3 stopped tracking sleep, syncing. Won’t recgnize Bluetooth after working fine for one week. I have reset everything and now it won’t see the charge even though all other Bluetooth devices work with my phone (iPhoneXS). Attempted to call customer service but can’t seem to get past the login because none of their associates can speak English well enough to input my email address. This is ridiculous. I pre-ordered this device and it has been a bust so far!! It fails to track my sleep for the past 3 nights and won’t aync at all!!

Google will devout it time (once the buyout is approved) it’s time to smart watches and discontinue lower quality wrist devices such as the Charge 3 imo. If that’s the case I too will switch to an APPLE WATCH since I am part of the APPLE ECOSYSTEM from computers to iOS devices. :heavy_check_mark:

Sobering article, echoing some sentiments above:
Fitbit is doomed: Here's why everything Google buys turns to garbage (ZDNet)
In a nutshell, most of Google's acquisitions in the last decade have been confused and often get sold back out at substantially less value. I like competition, I really do, which is why I actually do give other products a good try before getting (back) into the Apple ecosystem where much of my stuff is. I really tried an Android phone for about two years before giving up from just how terrible the usability was.

Not good news. Hate to see Fitbit go. It's got a great community!

I too am in the Apple ecosystem and instead of wearing a GOOGLE WATCH, I’ll be wearing an APPLE WATCH. The old fitbit Charge 3 will be discontinued imo.

Hey Betty, I’ll be joining you with an APPLE WATCH. How do you like yours? I don’t look forward to charging it every night. GOOGLE will discontinue the C3 imo.

I like it a lot except for having to charge it every night. Step count is
off from the Fitbit and it doesn't sync 100% with the iPhone ( the watch
shows a little fewer steps) ...I think you have you calibrate it right.
But it's a great alternative!

I also have the same isue with the Charge 3. It stopped working 2 months ago after 9 months of no problem. Have:
1. Reinstalled the app, in fact, changed phones.
2. Attempted to update the software but the phone can never find the fitbit.
3. Going to Bluetooth, the device is not found
Don't know what else to do. Hae continued to use it as a watch mostly, because the information can no longer be stored. It's a shame on such a device, only 8 months after purchase.

Try to reboot your device. Go to settings on the HR charge and To About.
Scroll to reset or reboot. The device will reboot. Or delete the device
from the app and reinstall as a new device. If neither step works, call
Fitbit Customer Service. Their phone number is on the website.

What's the support number?
877-623-4997
Just call it instead of trying all these wild guesses.

What if you still can't get your fitbit to update to use it? None of these suggestions are working. I can sync my fitbit and it is recognized, but it will not update. It is new and I keep getting the update screen before I can use it.

What are you trying to do exactly? I had issues with the charge 3 about a
week ago. I deleted the device from the app then reinstalled it. Had to
do it a couple of times and then it worked. Syncing is still a challenge
but I think it is the app more than the device. Try deleting the device
itself and reinstall it as if it was brand new. Good luck!

If your device is less than 1 year old, call Fitbit and they'll send you a
replacement.

I got my Fitbit in October 2018. It is December 2019. My warranty expired 2 months ago and then the watch stopped working. I am really mad about this.
My only option now is to buy a new watch.

Call them anyway and see what they say. I just got a Charge 3 and I'm
already having problems too but if it doesn't get better, I'm ditching
Fitbit for the Apple Watch. Good luck!

I already called and spent my hours on the phone with them trying to fix the issue.
At the end they just said that I nees to buy a new one.
They gave me a disconnect of 25% but it is only like 5 dollars cheaper compared to the same watch in annother store.
