My Charge 3 stopped tracking sleep, syncing. Won’t recgnize Bluetooth after working fine for one week. I have reset everything and now it won’t see the charge even though all other Bluetooth devices work with my phone (iPhoneXS). Attempted to call customer service but can’t seem to get past the login because none of their associates can speak English well enough to input my email address. This is ridiculous. I pre-ordered this device and it has been a bust so far!! It fails to track my sleep for the past 3 nights and won’t aync at all!!

Yeah, if you've done everything the app's step-by-step tell you to do and it doesn't work, just call support. All these very specific noodly instructions to restart/re-pair/reboot just so in some specific order on this thread have been totally useless. It's a device that, just like every other device of this nature these days, should just fricking work if you're following a simple set of instructions from the manufacturer.
North America support is at 877-623-4997. Hold times are surprisingly brief, but that's from a few months ago. They'll typically have you do the restart/re-pair thing to verify. But aimlessly just following whatever overly specific set of steps gets posted up on this forum has largely proven to be fruitless for people.

Thanks. I'll do that and see where it goes.

I was worried about the latest iOS update, but thankfully I’ve had not issues with ‘all day syncing’ since my iPad Pro updated. I do hold my breathe every time an update comes up though!
If you’ve made sure ‘all day sync’ is on on the Fitbit app, carried out a simple reboot and it’s not enabled all day syncing to be activated, then do as @burnowt suggests: don’t waste time carrying out pointless updates, but phone customer support. 877-623-4997. If there is a simple step to fix this issue, they should be able to talk you through it, without you trying 100+ useless steps; if they can’t, they will hopefully authorise a replacement.
Hope you get this issue sorted!

Go to app and delete device from the app. Then reinstall as new device.
you should get a new code to enter into your phone. If that doesn't work,
call customer service

Hey Peggy,
As you've probably heard GOOGLE is buying out FITBIT. I’m sure GOOGLE will do better in production.

Hey Burnout,
What are your thoughts on GOOGLE’s BO of FITBIT? Should be interesting. I think GOOGLE may be attempting to do battle with APPLE’s APPLEWATCH. They might halt production of lower quality devices such as the CHARGE 3. Soon you’ll be giving a GOOGLE number for people to complain! 😂

Well it's going to be interesting. Google doesn't have a health app and
they need Fitbit in order to compete with Apple and Samsung. A bigger
concern is privacy

Google aren't interested in the hardware, so they will take what is of benefit to them, and dismantle the rest. It may remain in name only, as in FitBit, but you won't be seeing anything major in the way of hardware, imho.
If we thought it was hard enough to get any change, we haven't seen anything yet. Google are notorious for simply ignoring anything asked, requested or pointed out.
Here's to hoping I'm completely wrong. Not that it will help me with my Charge 3, considering even FitBit don't support it to any extent... might as well have opened a packet of corn flakes and gotten one of those plastic prizes...

Yeah, Google basically bought *us*, as in our data. Years of it: Our biometrics, how active we are, how we sleep, how/where/when we use fitness devices, etc. This is all stuff Apple had to conduct its own surveys to figure out before Apple Watch, but now Google has it directly and can draw insights on how it can use that to target advertising and promotional information at us. Our concerns are minimal, it's only about holding enough of a carrot out to entice us to keep giving it to them. All our privacy and data usage agreements were with Fitbit, not Google.
A key component of Google's business is advertising, which makes me nervous about what that means for some pretty intimate data Fitbit has and is currently gathering on us. Not to glorify Apple, because it definitely has its issues, but Apple is much more reliant on consumer products and services, which is why they can be so strident and bold in their declarations on protecting privacy (I'll bet there are warts if you look more closely, though). I think this pretty much expedites my move off of Fitbit.

I never gave too much info to Fitbit anyway. My primary use was for step
counting and being part of the Fitbit community for challenges. Besides,
I got an Apple Watch when Fitbit couldn't get their app update right!
