Fitbit App Can't Find Versa

For the last 2 days, the app on my iPhone has not been able to find my Versa. Any suggestions?

@yysee and @maryharp - which phones do you have? Is this the first time you are trying to set up your Versa?

Same issue here and then some. Now, my watch won’t sync, it’s behind with the time like 15-20 minutes behind, it keeps disconnecting from Bluetooth & wifi; it’s a whole mess. I am very disappointed. I’m not sure if the IPhone update messed it up, I actually think it was the fitbit update that caused the issues.

My husbands new Fitbit did the same thing. And now it does nothing. I need to return it.

@MamaNovi - My Versa does this once in a while. Here’s what works for me:

  • Close the Fitbit app
  • Go into your phone’s settings and turn Bluetooth Off
  • Restart your Versa
  • Turn Bluetooth back on
  • Open the Fitbit app and try again to sync.

I did that and now my iPhone cannot even find my Versa 2 in Bluetooth.

 

At least I won't be having this watch when new Apple Watches roll out this fall. They sync like magic, while Fitibit is more like alchemy.
