With the recent update, my first generation Versa takes longer to sync and the app just doesn’t work- I’m not getting sleep scores, I can’t view any of my information.

I wold love to be able to post a video of the crash I get 😂. I do know this fitbit app was done bad and lazy as it only shows in one direction on the iPad. My iPad sits in a case so sideways with a keyboard attached to it so its like a mini laptop lol so every time I open the fitbit app its sideways and not up and down and thats a full on sign of lazy bad programming according to a programmer I know. It’s frustrating to say the least to see the issues the last 24hr I have gotten since I added the fitbit sense. I’m sure your even more annoyed then I am with five days of this.

I saw one member post that this was going on day 5 but the problem also only started for me last night so I really do think it is a Fitbit issue. Try to hang on and hopefully your products will all be working correctly soon.

Hello,

I agree it is fully a fitbit app issue and interesting it started last night for you as well. I just got everything on the scale to show correctly using my iPad but the sense watch is still a issue trying to go into settings on the iPad with the fitbit app and it crashes still. It’s just making me nuts as I hate using my iphone to do settings when I have a big screen iPad 😝 And since I have the iPad I use it for everything as its faster then booting up a PC 😂 This iPad was only gotten in June so its not a old iPad and is or was top of the line then so its not a issue of it being old etc. And even if it was old or small it should still work as the iphone still works and my iphone is a X so its way older and yet no issue. Fingers crossed they get it fixed fast as this sec this crap is a big turn off towards the fitbit app and its coding.

Fitbit Support just got back to me via their Twitter page:
Hi, Paula. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please be advised that our engineers are very aware and have mitigated some of the issues. We are actively working on resolving all issues promptly. Meanwhile, please try to uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app.

I have the iPad Pro 12.9 inch and its crashing for only one of my things on fitbit app the sense watch grrr but only when I go into settings. I can do settings on my iPhone X in the fitbit app so maybe try it on your phone for now and see if it will take the watch face without crashing. For me my issue started last night when I added the new sense watch and this issue seems to hit everyone a bit different. For now just try it on your phone until they fix this silly app.

Ya ok 👌 that makes me 😂 as no way I am going to try to remove the app and redo it all again. Thats such a generic statement they gave you. Add in most have redone the app more then a few times and it fixed nothing for me anyway. 😂 I’m not going to redo the app again as I did it a few times already. Ah sigh time for me to go in VR and hit something for a Hr. And pretend its the fitbit app 😂

I hear ya, but I, stupidly, uninstalled for the 11th time... didn’t work. 😂

I get it been there done that after many years on PC games. I came up for water seen the post so if you want to see what I use to exercise look on you tube for power beats VR today desert map in Egypt 😂 Its pretty much a whole body work out if done correct. Yoga etc bore me and this is two things I love PC games and music I add Rob Zombi for the win as its got some aggression behind it 😂 Winter and exercise is never a good mix in my area so its a easy fix with a VR and some good games. Now I must go back to get a full hr in today.

I’m having the exact same issue with my Charge 4 on my iPad. I even installed the app on my windows 10 P.C. and still cannot open the settings to change the apps and watch faces on my device.

I'm having the same issue with my Charge 2 on iPhone 11 Pro. Sleep data opens slowly and then freezes and unable to go back or do anything else. I just end up closing the app. Glad to know it's not just me and there's nothing wrong with my iPhone as all my other apps are working appropriately,

I have a Flex 2. Since the update a few days ago, the app is either very slow or won't respond at all. The most obvious crash is when viewing sleep stats. I have removed the device from bluetooth two times, then paired again, but that does not resolve the problem. Also receiving messages that device cannot sync.

Environment: iPad Mini 2, iOS 12.5.1
Fitbit Versa, latest update. (Acquired almost 2 years ago.)
Steps to Reproduce:
Launch Fitbit app. Tap user icon.
Verify that Versa is Connected. Wait for it to finish syncing.
Tap Versa.
Expected Results: Fitbit app opens panes to let me set up my Versa.
Actual results: Fitbit app crashes.
Attempts to fix:
Force-quit app, restart app. Still occurs.
Restart iPad. Still occurs.
Force-quit all iPad apps. Still occurs.
(You should have about twenty crash logs from me.)
Note: I wanted to add this information to another thread about the app crashing, but it was closed with a "best answer" that did not solve the problem.

There seems to be a trend with watch not syncing to anyone’s phone. Fix the bugs.

As a former software tester, I am quite shocked that none of these issues were caught before going into production.
