With the recent update, my first generation Versa takes longer to sync and the app just doesn’t work- I’m not getting sleep scores, I can’t view any of my information.

I updated to 3.39.1 this morning. No change. Clicking on sleep tile brings up sleep screen but can’t click on > or Back. Still need to quit app. iPad mini iOS 12.5.1, settings says up to date.

Hi Kate. App crashes on iPhone XSMax on iOS 14.4 (Versa 2 watch) once I click into the sleep tile from the Home Screen. It freezes completely and have to exit the app completely to go to other areas of the app. Has been since the update. I am not a premium subscriber.

It took a significant inconvenience for me to squeak about the app.
From others’ comments, the update doesn’t appear to have fixed their issues.
For me, it’s still a little sluggish, but that could be for reasons beyond Fitbit’s control.
Most importantly, it works again.
Thank you.

I did not have an 'update' on my iPad. So I logged out of the fitbit app and then deleted the app from my device. Then I went to the app store and reloaded/downloaded the app to my iPad. Logged back in and I can now go to the account/charge 2 screen without the app crashing. The new updated did not show up in the usual way. If not for this thread, I would not have known there was an update.

IOS - Fitbit CHARGE 2 and CHARGE 3 -> Fitbit app on IPAD fails when selecting the FITBIT devices from the ACCOUNT menu. It simply disappears and must be restarted. This prevents setup adjustments such as clock face, etc.

First I followed suggestions made in this thread:
- logged out of fitbit
- logged back into fitbit
*** checked to see if that fixed things ****
- turned the phone off
- turned the phone on
*** checked to see if that fixed things ****
- Did the hokey-pokey and turned myself around.
- logged out of fitbit
- logged into fitbit
*** checked to see if that fixed things ****
- Did the hokey-pokey and turned myself into a pretzel.
- made my opinion known in this thread and considered tossing things into water. Then remembered phone and Versa 2 are waterproof.
- then refreshed App Store updates screen and waited.
- then refreshed App Store updates screen and waited some more.
- then Fitbit 3.39.1 released.
- downloaded it.
- then prayed for the strength to not throw anything across the room if it didn’t work.
- then tested.
- It. Very. Slowly. Worked.
- then discovered that the world was on fire and I had to download iOS 14.4.1
- then waited for a long reboot.
- then tried to use the Fitbit app again.
- now the app works as dysfunctionally as it has for years, which is fine by me. (I think Fitbit plays better with android than iOS - not sure, though.)
I use:
iPhone 8+, iOS 14.4.1, Current firmware for Versa 2, Fitbit for iOS v3.39.1.
I understand many people using different Fitbit devices on different Apple devices with updated or nearly updated firmware, operating systems, or apps may have a different experience than I.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it (until something else goes horribly wrong).
