Is anyone else having problems with the Fitbit app freezing on iOS? Even the last two updates the app freezes on opening and I have to force it closed and Re-open several times before it will start and synch

I have this update and had to open and close the app 6 times this morning before it would open withoit freezing

Over the last 2 to 3 days when I start the app on my iPhone it freezes, and the only way to get it to work is to do a hard power off of the phone and turn it back on, and then it freezes again

I've had the same problem. I even downloaded the most recent update yesterday morning, but the problem persists.

I have noticed that the Fitbit iOS application is re-freshening much slower. The screen freezing has been going on for a number of years and has not been addressed satisfactorily. I have gone to clicking on the photo/your profile going to the device I am wearing and scrolling down and hitting, the button for data refreshing two or three times and then backing out and finding that the data has been updated. The three finger swipe to refresh has not worked for me because I am blind and use voiceover as a screen reading software I assume that it might work for sighted people But cannot verify. Problems with refreshing seem to be greater with my charge to then with the charge for. With the charge, for the problem appears when tails are absent from the screen, or when they reverse order. In my case, steps, floors, calories in zone minutes, reversed, and then at a later time returned back to their normal order . These same tiles disappear and then reappear for no apparent reason. I’m hoping that you will be able to stay within the app and be able to refresh the data. However, I sometimes do close the app and then re-open it and find that this works. Hope you find this helpful , because I know of no other work around.

Mine is crashing when trying to load. If it does load it is freezing 75 percent of the time!!!!
fix fast please!!!!

Same with me. Will crash multiple times before I get a successful load. If it doesn’t crash, it freezes. I can get it to work in 1 out of 10 attempts. Obviously an issue with the last update for iOS because it was working fine before.

Getting worse too!!! It took me about 20 times this morning clicking on the app to get it to load.

Oh, walking this morning. I noted on my iPhone that the screen steps were not updating. After working for a while and re-checking I noted that the step hat had not changed so I clicked on profile/picture, and then clicked on my Fitbit tracker and then scrolled down and synchronized my information three or four times. The first sink took approximately 7 to 8 seconds and afterwords took somewhere between three and four seconds to update. I always do this multiple times because I have found that sometimes when done just once it does not appear to update all of the fields. After synchronization, I went back to the home screen and noted that I had walked more than 1000 steps. I find that with both my devices I am synchronizing the information manually more often. Anecdotally I would say that app refreshing has gotten considerably slower, even after I purchased an iPhone with 5G Capability. I hope this information will be helpful for the Fitbit/Google software development team.

Anybody else having trouble with the app crashing? I have the newest update.
Every time I select my profile picture to go to my account, the app crashes (making it very hard to add my new device)... I've restarted my phone. Deleted the app and reinstalled. All the usual suspects. Never really had an issue with the app like this until today.

Same here. And I can't use my new Versa 4 (after a factory reset as suggested on other community posts due to other problems with the watch) because it's stuck on the screen telling me to pair it with my app, which I can't do because it crashes every time I try to go to the user profile screen. I've also restarted my phone and deleted the app, turned bluetooth off and back on, etc, etc. So frustrating.

YES! So annoying. They need to FIX this. I was hoping the most recent update and “bug fixes” would change that. Ever since the google switch there have been issues with iOS. I’ve been a Fitbit user since 2013 but if these keeps up I’m gonna have to get the new rugged Apple Watch.

Have sync issues with this version.
App won’t update in WiFi mode. The app is locked up and no functions work.
I have to turn off WiFi in order for the app to work. In addition, it has stopped syncing with my Fitbit. No steps yesterday or today or sleep either.
Anyone else had this issue?

Deleting and reinstalling the app works yes, but why does it keep happening every few days? It’s a glitch and needs to be fixed.

For the last couple of weeks, my Fitbit app has been frozen - tiles are unresponsive. It has worked for a couple of days during this time but it always goes back to being frozen so I can’t see all the data. I’ve tried everything except deleting the app. What is going on?

Also me. Starting every day with anger and frustration ... I'm over it. Completely unacceptable problem and lack of response from Fitbit.
They better give a **ahem** and fast or I'll move on to the chubby Apple Watch I've been avoiding.

It happens to me too. My fitbit 5 usually has trouble synching, but now it also it has started freezing now.
