Is anyone else having problems with the Fitbit app freezing on iOS? Even the last two updates the app freezes on opening and I have to force it closed and Re-open several times before it will start and synch
----------
I have this update and had to open and close the app 6 times this morning before it would open withoit freezing

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS Version 16.5.1, Fitbit Sense
Best AnsweriOS 16.5.1, iPhone Pro 12, Versa 4. I recently deleted the fitbit app and reinstalled it. that helped for a few days until the next freeze appeared.
Best AnswerThe last update (one week ago) is terrible.
Check out “Recent Reviews” on the App Store, there are lots of one star “App Freezes”. I haven’t had access to various Premium Features (score breakdowns, etc) in over a week.
if you’re using a Google login it will be worse. My wife uses her Fitbit login and has much better app performance (not great, just better) than I do with a Google sign in.
iOS 16.5.1 iPhone 11 versa 4 unpaired it because it wasn’t syncing, reinstalled app, restarted phone (after unpairing any other Bluetooth devices) phone and versa 4 plugged in. Been trying to pair for over an hour now and am about to stamp on Fitbit, demand a refund and save up for an Apple Watch 😡😡😡

An upgrade to the app appeared in the Apple App Store today, which I installed. The problem persists.
Best Answerhere’s how the freeze is looking. screen keeps unresponsive. no scrolling, no reloading. sometimes when closing the app and restart it it seems to load just a slight amount of data then keeps freezing. I have no issues with Wlan or 5G connections.
This app is garbage.
I got my “Premium” Features back yesterday (first time in 9 days… it was every other day before that) and now it’s back to unsubscribing me from “Premium” and cancelling my Premium Insights Consent.
Ugh.
Hi,
I’ve been having the same issue for a few weeks now, making the app completely unusable. Freezes upon opening, does not sync or load data just stuck on wireframes. I’m often quitting and reopening 20+ times to try load one piece of data and even that has stopped working now.
Have tried unpairing, deleting the app, restarting iPhone, logging in and pairing again. Multiple times in different sequences. It made the app work for a day or less before returning to freeze.
If this doesn’t get resolved soon there’ll be no option but to switch to another brand, as this is unbearable. So frustrated 😞
iPhone 12 mini, Versa 2
Best AnswerI'm wearing my new Apple Watch 8. Loaded all my third party apps like Strava, I'm trying SleepWatch for sleep tracking. Already working great, glitch free.
I've been with FitBit for over a decade but the current situation is a deal breaker. Amazon Prime Day has the Apple Watch up to $100 off. If you're on the fence, might be time for a change.
Best AnswerIPhone 13 mini, iOS 16.5.1, current Fitbit app 3.86. This has been happening for the past month to month and a half for me, spanning several Fitbit app releases. I even tried deleting and reinstalling a couple of times, but the issue always returns within a day or two.
This past week it was actually doing okay with no freezes for several days in a row, but then it went back to freezing this morning and requiring killing and restarting the app a few times, then waiting for about 3 minutes before it started working again.
