Fitbit Update: 8/15
Hey all!
This week we released the option to opt-in to use the new dashboard to everyone. At this time, everyone should have received the option to opt-in already. If you didn't opt-in, we will transition everyone into the new dashboard in the coming weeks.
A reminder, after you've opted into the new design you cannot revert and go back to the old one. Read more about the new interface we've designed here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Make sure you're also on the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Thanks for your patience while we completely released the new interface to everyone. We hope you're enjoying the improvements that have been made and appreciate all the feedback.
Fitbit Update: 8/6
Hey everyone!
Thanks for all your feedback on the new dashboard design. We're still in the process of releasing it to all of our users. If you don't see it yet, you will have it pushed to you in the coming weeks! This has been a slow process for the past few months to ensure a smooth rollout.
We're currently on app version 3.3, so please make sure as always that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Once we've released this new dashboard to everyone, we will announce it in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 6/17
Hi Fitbit Family,
We are still rolling out our updated Fitbit app design to more users currently with v.2.95. Please make sure to update the Fitbit app by visiting the App store if you haven't already. If you don't see the new dashboard just yet, you will be receiving it at some point in the coming weeks.
Thanks so much for your patience throughout this rollout. To read more about this new dashboard experience, please check this article out: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Once this rollout is complete, we will let you all know in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 5/22
Hi everyone!
We’ve rolled out another phase of testing for the new app dashboard experience. If you’re one of the lucky people to see it before the full release, you can read more about it here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
We’ll continue to slowly release this to all Fitbit customers on iOS and Android. Once we receive more information on this, we’ll let you know.
Hope you’re all enjoying this new layout!
Fitbit Update: 4/24
Hi everyone!
Beginning today with app v2.92, we're excited to announce a new dashboard experience for the Fitbit app, currently by invitation only. If you are invited to opt-in, you can see the new design and try our new app experience to access all your stats and information in a way that’s more dynamic, integrated, and highly personalized.
You can read more about it in this help article: What's the new Fitbit app experience?
As with all our new dashboard updates, this is a progressive rollout. If you don't have an invitation or see the dashboard immediately, you will receive it later on.
We will update this thread with more information later, so stay tuned!

I just downloaded it to my phone tonight and I don’t like it, either. I wish I could go backwards. I wish app designers would realize that not every user has 2020 vision. Even legally blind people like to get fit and like to be able to read their screens. I don’t like this new tiny print. Not one bit.

I plan to keep saying no when it asks if I want to update. Hopefully it will never be forced upon us.

Will we be able to keep the dashboard way it is? It is very serviceable and I hope Fitbit will not force the new dashboard on its loyal users.

You might ask your director of IT if he has heard the phrase, if it's not broke, don't "fix" it. I'm not sure what someone meant by dynamic and integrated, but it seems FitBit made some very poor choices.

Hello everyone, I'm happy to continue providing assistance.
I appreciate the feedback that was posted in regards the new Dashboard design. Just as per previously mentioned, we're always striving to improve the Fitbit experience with our products and services. Therefore, the feedback that is shared here in the Community Forums is really helpful for us to evaluate our procedures to make sure that we are delivering what our users are searching for.
Thanks for taking the time to share your personal experience with the new dashboard design and your thoughts regarding this process, your posts are really helpful for us.
@KammyB Thanks for troubleshooting this prior to posting. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your iPhone XR that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
I'll be around if you need anything else.

The new dashboard will probably take some time to get used to, but it looks pretty fresh and clean to me. I liked the previous setup more though because it provided more overview. This dashboard is more like a list.
The one thing that i really miss is 'cals over' and/or 'cals under' in the now 'food' section. Not only did it show the amount of cals that i logged in MyFitnessPal but it also showed some kind of prediction if i was on schedule compared with what i was going to burn that day (including rest cals). It was my most used and most loved feature and i can't seem to bring it back.

Hi,
So I finally got the new dashboard update and I've been following this topic with so many people complaining about it. Now once I've finally used it for 2-3 days, I love it. I seriously don't know what all these people are complaining or are they really that stupid to not find stuff around. It is a beautiful new look and excellent work by the team for this new dashboard. Keep up the good work!

Is there a way to revert to the old layout? The new one fells way less efficient and I don’t like it at all.

In the same way we can choose which layout to have for the screen on The watch, isn’t it possible To give the use the possibility to chose which dashboard to use?
After a few days with the new one I would reallly prefer to go back to the old version.

Same here. Have you found a solution? I really want to go back to the old dashboard. I really dislike this new one.

Good morning everyone well I just looked at my phone regarding my sleep and to my surprise the sleep cycle was gone. My heart rate it also gone and instead of steps showing in the main section I now have it showing calories.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Same issue here, and now I cannot add things like sleep back (and uninstalling it and redownloading it). It says my Fitbit is not the correct make which is not true at all.

08-13-2019 03:58
Ditto! The Under/On Target/Over for calories is my most important feature! Bring it back, please!’
