I am trying to enable location services on my iPhone6 so that I can track my runs with GPS. But the Fitbit app is not showing up in list of apps in Settings>Privacy>Location Services. How do I enable this?

Thanks so much for this. It worked for me with a Charge 3 on an iPad.

I am having the same issue - reinstalling the Fitbit app is not sorting it. Neither is restarting my iPhone. Any ideas what to try next?

Apple is not letting you change the location privacy setting and the current version of this problem came with an iOS update. This is an Apple problem.
It reminds me of the annoying way my iPhone asks me whether its OK for each and every Google app to have access to my location data no matter how many times I tell it I want them to always have access. It's probably several weeks before I get these inquiries for each individual app, but since there are several of them I quite frequently get the annoying warning that apps are doing exactly what I want them too.
Apple is always eager to protect users from the horrors of being able to use competing products easily.

You're my hero. I'm so tired of Apple protecting me from non-Apple products and services doing exactly what I want them to do. Authorizing apps to have access shouldn't be so hard.

Hi Marco,
I have the same issue as was described here. Following your advice I deleted the app and reinstalled it, but I still don’t see location settings under the fitbit settings.

Did you follow the advice of AllyFrances and someone else, or just the unhelpful official advice to reinstall the app? The solution provided by the users worked for me.

thank you I also got a new iphone 11 pro and could not get the weather to work on my fitbit or see the option to turn on location services. starting the exercise on the app worked then I was able to go in to privacy and tap location services....after doing that I could go in and switch it to always. That option should pop up when you download the app. crazy waste of time

This needs to replace MarcoGFitbit's "answer" as the "Best Answer" to this question. This works. His suggestion does not help and actually causes harm to those who follow his advice.
