I just talked to Fitbit support. They are aware of the crashing problem and are currently trying to fix it.
Best AnswerSame issue here on my iphone. I was able to get mine to open by quickly touching the screen when i see it flash and pulling down like im trying to do a manual sync. Takes a few tries but i do get it open.
Best AnswerSame for me and since there are comments from yesterday it appears they are slow to fix this!!! Absolutely frustrating dealing with this app and my charge 5 for the last several months!! I have followed all the steps and got it to work once but now back to flashing and closing. Who has time and patience to keep dealing with these issues?!!!!
Yes same problem.
I tried to get in touch with support, Livechat - doesn't work no response. after a few attempts it then states to contact using email, then I immediately get a bounce back stating they don't support email responses.
I’m having exactly the same problem. Cannot even get the App Store to let me reinstall. Very frustrating!
Best AnswerThe App on my iPhone is not allowing me to open it! I touch the app icon it shows the log on page and then closes! Beyond frustrating!!!
turned of phone and restarted - did not fix.
deleted the app and reloaded it - did not fix.
HELP!!!
Best Answerhow do you get access to the version 3.76 from your iphone? Mine is doing exactly what has been described in this thread - since this morning
Best AnswerDitto! 😞
I have confirmed the same thing. If I am connected to the internet, my fitapp will briefly open and immediately shut down. If I disconnect from the internet, the app will open and stay open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have rebooted my phone multiple times. The only thing that I can find that allows the app to stay open is disconnecting from the internet which is not a solution since I can't sync my data. Fitbit, please solve this bug so that my fitbit is usable again.
Best AnswerI noticed something interesting, if I turned off Cellular data (iPhone), so that I was only on WiFi and opened the app it would load no problem. Turn cellular data on and app crashes every time. Did this several times and had the same with the same results.
Best AnswerHaving the same issues on Iphone 13. Nothing is working to get the fitbit to stay on once I've gotten on, but then it went to a blank screen! Please help fitbit!
