Worked until I went to a different app. Coming back it crashed again
Best AnswerWhen I select the fitbit app on my iphone, the app flashes the login page then closes. The app has worked correctly for 3 weeks and now there are problems.
1. I am on the current IOS version
2. I am on the current Fitbit version 3.76
3. I have deleted the app and reinstalled - which means i have lost the data on my phone
4. I have turned phone off and back on
Even after all of this, I still have problems.
I have the exact same problem on my iPad. Is there a server problem?
What do I try next? I would sync to windows but the fitbit app for that is no longer available.
Thanks!
Same thing is happening to me. I've done all the same steps as everyone else. The only relief if knowing it's a system user wide issue and not just me. I hope it is resolved soon.
Glad it’s not just me.
My phone updated the software last night, so I think that’s what did it.
Will try contacting customer service as their software engineers need to update the app
I ran into the same problem after updating my phone last night. It’s an iPhone X now running iOS 16.3.1. Although given that update only came out yesterday and others have been having problems earlier it may be something else. I tried restarting my phone and deleting the app completely from my device including all data and reinstalling. It crashes so fast, I can’t even relog in since reinstalling the app.
Mine too
Best Answernice try. but was only able to log in...and then to sync, you have to turn off airplane mode. Crashes again. and then we are back to where we started.
My app is not working either. I tried a live chat with Fitbit but there was no response
Best AnswerI am having the same problem! I also wanted to outline ALL the steps I’ve taken:
-deleted app, updated iOS, restarted iPhone, reinstalled app with Bluetooth off
-deleted and reinstalled app after restarting iPhone
-turned off iPhone for two minutes with app already installed, turned off Bluetooth, closed all other apps and tried opening
-tried opening app after ensuring all other apps are closed
-deleted and reinstalled several times with Bluetooth both on and off
I wanted to ensure that even with all the recommended steps, I’ve had no luck with opening the app. This is ridiculous and I might just buy an Apple Watch with my tax return. Can someone please support?!
App opens now but still won’t allow sync.
Best AnswerSame for me

Hi,
My Fitbit app just started to crash and close immediately upon opening it. I updated the app, turned phone on and off, deleted app and reinstalled and again turned phone on and off and it still will not load. Any suggestions?

My Fitbit app started crashing today before I did the iPhone update and it still doing it after the iPhone update. I uninstalled and reinstalled it but still it is crashing. Please fix this.
