Fitbit keeps vibrating after answering a call

Since I updated to the latest ios my fitbit continues to vibrate and notify me of an incoming call even after I have answered the call.

Is there a fix in place?

Fitbit!!! This has been going on for several months now.
Surprisingly little interest it has for you, to fix a problem that your many users have.

Your lack of competence, has just lost me as a customer, and I’m not coming back!

What have you gone for? I think I prefer Garmin to Apple?

I was thinking Apple also, but then again ... Battery time lasting one day, not sure I’ll be able to cope with that on the long run.
Im actually thinking to give fossil 5 Gen a shot.

Tried these directions and it seems to have resolved my problems!

Rod, I am delighted for you. However, they have not worked for me or the majority of people on this board. In addition I have not received any new suggestions from contacting customer support.

Good call, I had. It considered fossil but looks good and good reviews. I am also looking at Samsung as Samsung and Apple have the best reviews on Which.

Ever since I synced my new iphone 10X with my Blaze everytime I receive a phone call after I pick up the call my fitbit keeps ringing/vibrating. It used to stop upon pick-up. Does n=anyone know how I can control the iphone notifications?

I have the same experience. My Fitbit continues to vibrate until it times out. It’s like the connection to the phone is lost therefore it does not know that the call has been answered.

Thank-you for your response. It's interesting to know I'm not the only one experiencing this phenomenon. Now if we can just find a solution. It's so annoying that I don't wish to use the feature.

Hello and welcome @rudeboy9 and @kalamityb

I’m sorry to see you’re both experiencing problems with your Fitbit Blaze continuing to ring/vibrate even after the call is being answered. There is currently a thread discussing this exact issue and partaking in this thread would be beneficial for you both. I’m moving both your post to this location here:https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Fitbit-keeps-vibrating-after-answering-a-call/td-p/3805085

Please review the thread and pay special attention to the post made by the Fitbit Moderator. 😉

The only thing that has worked for me is turning notifications off.

I still have not found out how To stop it and Fitbit customer services were
not helpful. After 15mins on hold I was given the same instructions many
other people have already tried on this forum and which have not worked.

I have tried all the suggestions also to no avail and it now looks like I need to turn off notifications. It's a shame because it's a great feature. This is what happens I suppose once the Blaze is no longer available. Support doesn't want to waste any time fixing the defect.

Hello @Railroad65

I noted that your recent post contains your name and your telephone number. I would suggest protecting your privacy and remove that information. To do so just tap the three small dots to the upper right corner of your post, tap edit in the drop down menu, remove sensitive information then hit submit. 😉

Tanks for the heads up on my phone number!

Since the ios update, my fitbit also only rings on outgoing calls (I turned calls off completely) and does not recieve text alerts at all.  I would love to get updates when fixes are ready.

Has Fitbit confirmed they are working in a fix?  In the next few days I’ll make a decision to upgrade my Blaze or move my purchase to another company.  My decision will be based on clarity.  Is this issue actively being researched or are updates for the Blaze no longer being supported?  If it’s being addressed, what is the ETA?  if not, just give us the update so I (we) can move on.

The customer care rep I spoke to was unhelpful on this front which leads me
to believe that they are not, especially as it has now been over 2 months
with no updates from Fitbit. Personally, I have already deceased to leave
Fitbit for Garmin who I hope will be more appreciative of my custom.
