The new update has greatly slowed the search and scan features for logging in food.
The new update spends minutes to search for a food to log in. Very frustrating. You previous app was much more user friendly dashboard to see your daily progress and food logging.
The bar code scan is particularly annoying in how long it takes to find the food!

Yes, have restarted the phone on several occasions. This does not solve the problem. Thanks

I have been experiencing the same problem. It has become worse and worse with each passing month over the past two years. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app countless times. Beginning to wonder if it is time to leave the Fitbit ecosystem and move to another brand of fitness tracker. I've been a long time Fitbit user, however. Multiple devices over many years.
