Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @Steffgee
Thank you coming to the community with your question and congratulations on your purchase of your Versa Lite. I understand your frustration with not receiving your notifications at this time. Currently notifications are an issue that the Fitbit Team are indeed working on and hopefully a fix will come out soon. Please view this thread here for settings updates, tips and possible solutions that may work to get your notifications working: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Stopped-seeing-notifications-after-updating-to-iOS-13/td-p/3...
Although it’s a personal choice but I would strongly suggest updating your current iOS device. Doing so may resolve some of the issues (not notifications) that you are experiencing. Can you let me know what your current iOS device model you are using? (Example: iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone XS)
😃Please keep me posted

Hello again @Steffgee
Interesting question.....🤣 Here’s my confession: I have a Samsung Android phone. I love mine and I find them extremely reliable and long lasting. I recently just replaced an android that I had for almost 7 years with another Android. But I view my Fitbit App on my iOS iPad simply because it’s easier on my vision to have a larger screen to interact with.
😃 I hope that answers your question
