The instructions to set an alarm up on the mobile app don’t match what’s on the dashboard I don’t have the option to press + to set an alarm ?

@SunsetRunner Yes, I did press the side button to get back to the clock face. That still didn't work.
I figured it out. Once you select the time, then pick the day or repeat days for the alarm. Then scroll down to the check mark. Then PUSH AND HOLD the check mark for a couple of seconds. When you release, your alarm time should appear (if you have multiple alarms, then the list of alarms will appear). To then edit or delete an alarm swipe left on the time you want to edit and the word edit will appear. Click on edit to change or delete (using the trash can icon) that alarm time. No need to push the side button repeatedly to get back to the clock face.
This seems so simple for Fitbit to spell out, especially with such a dumb change. This was not intuitive. What was wrong with setting the alarm from the app like the Charge 3?
Best AnswerIt appears to need this procedure EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
why won’t the alarm repeat on a regular basis? That was an option before this last update.
Best Answer@Dontfixwhataint you can set alarm repeats on the charge 4.
1. After setting the alarm time, swipe up, and tap Repeats
2. You will see the ability to select Everyday, or pick individual days.
3. Pick your day or days, and then hit the back button.
4. You should see the alarm is on, and what days selected for repeat.
5. Hit the back button 2 more times to get back to the start screen.
Thanks JerryW33 that appears to have been the solution.
I have looked on my phone and cannot find account when logged into fitbit.com. I read somewhere that it may be necessary to add an app to the fitbit. Is that so? I have a charge 3.
Best Answer@Danni.0911 - My instructions were for the charge 4. In order to set an alarm on the charge 4, you have to do it from the device itself, not the app. If you do not have charge 4s, then please let me know which Fitbit device you have, and which phone you sync to. I’d be happy to give specific instructions for your specific set ups.
Thanks but there is no alarm clock on the Fitbit. You say ALSO and thus I need a Fitbit App on this phone. None of the instructions I have read work. monty@knight-olds.me
Best AnswerThat's all well and good. But the instructions on the website, from fitbit, say that you CAN do it from the app. So the "instructions" should be corrected!
