Hi @boocritter and welcome to the forums! In order to set an alarm on the charge 4, you have to do it from the device itself, not the app. Here are the instructions I follow. Hopefully you will be able to find all the commands. Please try resetting your Charge 4 before trying the alarms again.

  • From your charge 4 clock face, swipe to the left 3 times until you see Alarm. Tap that.
  • Tap the + to set a new alarm.
  • Tap the hour, then the minutes for the time of your alarm
  • Select AM or PM then swipe up to make sure you see “Alarm On.”
  • From here, you can also set the alarm up to repeat, if you want.
  • Now, here is the important part — Once the alarm is at the proper time and set to On, press the Charge 4 button until you get back to the clock face. This finalizes your setting.

Please try this and let me know how it goes.

Which Fitbit device do you have, @Danni.0911 ?  Many now allow you to set an alarm right from the device.

Hello @Danni.0911 thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. It's nice to see you too @SunsetRunner I hope you're doing well.

@Danni.0911 I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Note that if you have an Ionic or Versa you can set an alarm from the Alarms app in them. If you have any other device, please go to the Fitbit app and tap on Account > Your Device > Silent Alarms. In here you will be able to create and alarm or edit an existing one.

Give this a try and let us know the outcome.

Why has Fitbit taken away the + button for setting the alarm? It now takes much longer to set alarms, and I tend to change mind each day depending on my  schedule. Why didn't Fitbit warn us of the change of app interface? It's dreadful!

The way the alarm is set has changed! You used to be able to press + directly from the home screen of the app. This is no longer an option.

Hello @CityDunnock I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply.

I appreciate you have come back and clarify this for me. Please note that even though the "+" sign has been removed to add a quick exercise/food/alarm our team is constantly taking in consideration your suggestions, which is why I would like to suggest you to @JoeKII's suggested idea to implement a feature that will allow users to switch between dashboards. Feel free to add your vote and comment on this idea, this is the best way to make your voice heard and get the attention from our development team.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, have a great day.

Hello,

Could you please assist and advise how to add the wake up / go to bed Alarm in the Fitbit app for my children.

I am the main holder and have 2 children.  When they press alarm on their Fitbit they have info "Add the alarm to the Fitbit application". They use Ace 2

I recently got a new Fitbit Charge 4. All instruction states to go to the fitbit unit in the app and choose silent alarm. Funny but I don't have that feature. I go to the apps and choose alarms and it shows it as installed, but there is no way to create a new alarm. Alarm does not even show up on my unit as an option to do it directly from the fitbit itself.

Help!!!

Thank you so much for the information. It worked exactly as you directed. When I got the new fitbit, it loaded to my Samsung Galaxy S20 via the app without an issue. However, when I tried to figure out how to set an alarm, the directions just kept running me in circles. Your directions were way more helpful. I appreciate your response and help. Thank you.

Carol,

I have the Charge 4.

After alarm time set, it the goes to pick repeats for day, then just a check box or trash.

I pick check, and then set a 2nd alarm.  When I go back to check, all I get is the option to add an alarm.

How do I see the alarms I set already?

Hi @JerryW33 - Did you press the side button repeatedly to get back to the clock face after setting your alarm? This is important. Once you are back to the clock face, you should then be able to go to the alarm screen and see your current alarms.
