How does a person delete old notifications from the app? I have notifications going all the way back to March when I first got my Fitbit. There seems to be no way.

Best AnswerMy notifications go bavk to march 2018.. .it's August 2019. MUCH longer than 30 days !!! Yes I have been logged out and back in of Fitbit. Just did an uodate yesterday and the little pink sign says 25 notifications. Annoyng.
Hello. Some of the posts go a few years back regarding not being able to get rid of old notifications. I tried your proposed solution of logging out and then back in and it didn’t work.
Perhaps it’s time for Fitbit to address this issue. Too expensive of an item to have so many glitches
No the solution did not work. The notifications are from 2017 and do not drop off. No new notifications in over a year. I logged off and back on; notifications are the same. Today’s date is 8 /13/ 2019
Best AnswerI think as a whole .... we agree that the solution provided does not work. There has to be some sort of an update from Fitbit. Let’s hope they get on that as well as a bunch of other crummy things with this watch. because I’m considering switching to an Apple Watch.
Best AnswerHello
Sorry, my list of 75+ notifications dating back to 2017! does not delete. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, relogged in and nada. Cannot delete old notifications, they do not drop off, and new ones from today do not appear, likely because the buffer for them is full. Please fix this.

This feature needs another look from your Product Development team. If your target audience is motivated women who get things done, we organize our inboxes. Only the relevant, must-address items remain.
We expect and demand the ability to delete nonimmediate junk. And to value whatever comes in that's worth seeing.
It extremely annoying that we cannot similarly clean out these notifications.
Read? Yes!
Removed? Nope. Still there.
This lack of control devalues all of your notifications. I promise to ignore the next 150.
You know what you need to do, please prioritize the fix!
Thanksgivings!

My notifications do not delete after 30 days and they go back to June 2018 and they are not recording today’s date of August 21, 2019
Do something now or I will go with an Apple device
I have the exact same issue in that notifications in my Fitbit app are still showing from November two years ago. I have tried logging out and back in and even deleted and reinstalled the app on my phone but it has not made a jot of difference. So what do I do now, other than simply ignore notifications?

Best AnswerThe notifications do not delete. I am frustrated and I do not use the notifications or even look at them most of the time and I agree they should do away with that part of the Fitbit altogether
Best AnswerI've already decided to go with another fitness watch. It's beyond ridiculous that we still can not delete notifications. Nor do we have a way to never receive them. On the new dash board I can't delete the women's health section. I haven't had a menstrual cycle in 20 years. The reminders to move are sporadic, so much so it's no good to me any more. I've loved my Charge 2, but it's so outdated I just don't want it anymore.
Best AnswerThis did not work for me I have the charge 3 and it is still showing notifications from January
