Hello @Lisadee73 have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.
Have you restarted your phone and your Ionic by pressing and holding the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen recently? If so, my best recommendation would be resetting Notifications through the Fitbit app to also reset the connection between the tracker and the phone.
To reset Notifications:
Additionally, If your phone is currently running iOS 11, please go to your phone Settings > Notifications > Fitbit and make sure the following is enabled:
Finally, make sure your Ionic is able to receive Notification by swiping right while on the clock face and check if under Notifications "Receive from phone" is selected.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Hello @MickSinclair, I hope you're doing well, thanks for joining the conversation.
At this moment if you have already tried the steps described in my previous post, please make sure you have updated your Ionic's firmware and the Fitbit app. The latest app version is the 2.43.1 (732), go to Account > Help to check it out.
If you're still having trouble receiving Notifications, please reply to me with the following information:
That will help me investigate this further.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, give it a try and let me know the outcome!

Hello @Houtini, thanks for joining the conversation, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Fitbit Community!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Have you checked if your Ionic is not currently on the Do Not Disturb Mode? You can check this by swipe right while on the clock face, in here you will be able to see Notifications, please make sure "Receive from phone" is selected. If everything seems right with your tracker I would like to suggest you to reset Notifications from the Fitbit app following these steps:
- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and tap on tracker. Then tap on Forget this Device.
- Force-close the Fitbit app by double tapping the home button on your phone and swiping up the app.
- Open the app again and tap on Account > Ionic > Notifications. You will receive the following Pop-up:
- Then, once you tap on Set Up, the app will begin setting up your tracker with the Bluetooth on your phone, which will prompt the next pop-up:
- Tap Pair
- Once you get back to the tracker options, tap on Notifications an enable the ones you'd like to receive.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

I have the same problem.
Been through all of the above, still no notifications. They worked great until about a week ago.
I updated to 31.1.29 this morning, IPhone 8 with 11.2.5
No text, no calendar, no calls. I've deleted the fitbit app and reinstalled, reset the fitbit several times.
My Charge 2 gets notifications just fine. I tried turning them off on the Charge 2 to see if that did it. No luck.

Hello @swduncan, I hope you're doing well, thanks for joining the conversation.
I appreciate you have already tried the troubleshooting steps described above. At this moment I would like to ask you to press the button on your Charge 2 for 2 seconds, if your tracker is on the "Do Not Disturb" mode, a message and a vibration will let you know if this mode has been turned off. Now, if this doesn't seem to work, please go to your phone Settings and check the following is enabled:
If everything is enabled, disable it, then restart your phone and enable them back. In case you're still not getting Notifications, please let me know.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let me know the outcome!

My Ionic was working perfectly until I got greedy and wanted the weather app to work. I did a factory reset, now I can't get call/text notifications from my iphone8 (V11.3 on Verizon). I'm connected on bluetooth (according to phone bluetooth settings), but when I go to the app notifications and press pair, I only get a spinning wheel then "Bluetooth Pairing Failed" "Call Notifications and All-Day Sync are disabled for now".
I've restarted the app, my phone and Ionic to no avail. I've also removed and readded the Ionic.
Ionic is on 27.32.4.19
Weather works, but I'd rather have my call and text notifications.

Hello @SpartyMike, I hope you're doing well, thanks for joining the conversation.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. At this moment I would like to ask you to first, check if the app is on its latest update by going to the App Store on your phone, then tap on the Updates tap and if the app needs an update you will be able to see it here.
After that, go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device. Then, restart your phone and go to the Fitbit app > Account > Ionic and enable Notifications again.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Hello -
I am having issues with receiving notifications on a consistent basis on my Fitbit Ionic. I've done the refreshing steps several times and the notifications work for awhile, but then they sporadically work. I have an iPhone 7 Plus, using iOS 12.1.2, Fitbit Version 2.85. Could you please provide me some guidance? Thanks!

This worked for me. Go into Bluetooth, forget device, reboot phone then go back into Fitbit app and in Notifications pair again.

Hi I noticed my Ionic stopped receiving phone notifications. I discovered that somehow my notifications were switched off.
Press and and hold left button and it brings up screen wake and notifications, in mine this is where it said Off.
Hope this helps!
